Silver Star or Big White?

Which is better based on mountain, park and lifestyle?

heading up to both for a few days at the start of next year so im interested on you boys opinions!
 
big white has a better park and has its own park chair...silver star has a decent park but no chair or t-bar and it gets really crowded on the 6-pack chair... big whites nightlife is better too and you can pretty much find a party by standing outside of the liquor store... the only thing thats nice about SS is that it has some steeper areas on the backside...pm me with any questions
 
big white is sick with easy accsess to big mountain with killer trees and a baller park with some serious pow
 
I think overall Big White would be better. Silverstar is very small, supposed to have a great park.
 
been to both. hated big white. felt like every run was pretty much the same with the exception of a few areas. the snow sucked when i was there though

i liked silver star more. more of a skiers mountain
 
Big white's park would only be better if the jumps were half as big as they claimed them to be.  Like last year Flynn was claiming biggest jumps in the valley and they were shitty 15 footers.
 
Silverstar's park has been getting better and better for the past few seasons, and the backside is always fun on pow days. I've never actually skied at Bigwhite, but from what I've heard the park is really good, and the cliff area looks fun.
 
just finished snowing at silverstar, there's about 20-25cm at the top, so not a whole lot, but starting thursday the forcast is lookin like more snow for at least the next week or so
 
yeah thats true too, they want to open in 9 days which is pushin it right now,

but the long range forcasts are predicting snow/rain for Vernon for basically the next week and a half after Thursday, so I can see them opening on time
 
yeah...wellll i reallyu hope they open... silver star needs about 80 cm to open and big white needs about 65cm so hopefully one of them will open...ss has more snow at the moment i think
