Yeah, it definately more of a family place, I'd prefer sun-peaks and maybe big white, it does get some nice pow on the double blacks (easy ones, not whistler quality double blacks) and its fun to build a hit.

Yeah, my Dad and Step Mom are going for two weeks or something and i got offered by my dad that he would pay for me for a week if i went during march break. I'd be damn stupid to turn him down. I was woundering if there were any locals too.

man, i worked at silver star as a ski instructor for the pst three years. it fuckin rocks, the fall lines are steep and fuckin straight. and there is some sick tree riding, you just gotta know where to go. its waaaaaay better than big white or sun peaks. big white is too inconsistent, and the cliff is always foggy, and sun peaks is too flat.
I like the guy who tried to sound smart by correcting the person's joke about being a state.......providence...lol...you must be american

The real story on Silver Star:
If you knwo where to go, this hill is better than anyother I've been to in the Valley. Sick sick terrain on the backside, and tons of backcountry too. A poor park and pipe scene though, and its layout is terrible. It's a local's hill for sure. You gotta know the area just to get to in bounds places is sometimes hard!

A quiet little hijacking on the way to the check-out counter.
And a federal crime.
