Silver King Freeride

Tyler Ceccanti is a damn good skier, but you crystal kids worship him a bit to much. and don't have alot of exposure to the big leauges.

They guys who are coming up from sqaw are fucking gnarburgers. Tyler is going to have more then a run for his money.

I am talking the sort of skiers that are perfectly capable of sending 40+ ft to ice.

with the new snow as well things are gonna go off.

He is good, but not THAT good. Worst style i've ever seen.
 
Pretty sure I saw josh anderson send the biggest Lincoln loop I've ever seen in my life from the biggest point on the bottom nose of the King. Git sum!
 
josh's lincoln was rediculous. over-rotated and still managed to stomp it, gnarliest thing ive ever seen.
alpental andy also had a sickkkk backie the first day.
 
I have not heard of alpental closing down terrain so warren miller or some film company could use up all the of the first good snow they got in months, and mess it up for the people who paid $1200 for the ability.

I will still ski crystal, I just won't pay money in order too. Nor publicly support them.
 
About 10 years ago Warren Miller filmed at Alpental..."where you can ski at night!!" that was a sweet song, haha. I'm guessing they picked a powder day and snagged all the sick lines. Irregardless, I'm guessing that's not your only beef. My comment was purely to say, you may not like a mtns way of doing things, but no mtn is perfect. At the end of the day, I'm going skiing.
 
Oh I still ski there. I just don't pay to do so.

And ya, I got some more beef then that with crystal.

And I know no mnt is perfect, I just try not to support them when they do stuff that really pisses me off.

If I had paid the ridiculus $1200 to ski crystal this year, they would have received a pretty long letter about that.

Which they would have just laughed off....

Which brings me to the part about crystal that really pushes my buttons. Quite a few people on here and others that I know have written or called up crystal mt, with either a complaint, comment, or suggestion. It seems to me that the response is always along the lines of: "we don't care what you think, you don't matter." This 'you don't matte if you don't have a private plane or are not famous' attitude is what really gets under my skin. It does not help at all when they close down their best terrain to those that paid for it in order to let a film crew get a few shots of their 'golden boys' skiing powder. Especially when it was one of the few times this year that it has been any good.

Until that 'lowly customers don't matter' attitude changes I am going to be pretty anti Crystal mt.

 
Funny you complain about companies being assholes to their customers considering where you work.

i wrote an email to john kirchner a couple years ago telling him it was lame to open rex at noon on christmas day while he and his wife lapped sunnyside many times in full view of the lineup. he told me if i want to ski pow on christmas day i should buy my own ski resort.

that being said, its got awesome terrain. and i hate the northway chair.
 
Why havent you bought your own resort again? Come the fuck on will, get on this stuff, you cant expect me to do it, im making negative money right now~
