Silencers

anyone riden these yet? how are they? I'm thinking about buying them, and am currently rocking some trouble makers, are they're any huge difference in the skis?

probably not. the scilencers are the same as the 04 and 05 public enemy. i think.

i have the 04-04 enemys and new silencers and the only thing similliar is the dimmensions, they are a much softer ski better for jibs. i love them thought i would highly recomend them for the price

i dont think ull like em as much as the trubs except the edges are prob better

the trouble makers are wider by a couple mm throughout and are a little stiffer as well, they do have a wood core as well+

Last I checked both of them had a wood core...?

And arent the TMs a pretty soft ski, whereas the Silencers are a slimmed down PE, which is stiffer?

i think you meant to say the silencer is a little wider overall. 80mm instead of the TM's 78mm waist. turning radius is pretty similar in the 178 silencer vs. 182 TM. TMs are a bit softer in the tail than the silencers, the tips flex pretty similarly though. i've skied my silencers one day so far, and really liked how they handled groomers mounted at +7.5. it doesnt feel as awkward as a lot of people have said it would.

the silencers are about the same stiffness as the PEs, but i wouldn't recommend them for park. fugatives are where it's at. fyi my silencer's topsheets are chipping away like crazy.
