Silencers vs. punx

i currently have the silencers from 2 years ago and was looking into a new pair of skis for this year, which would be softer ? or would they be about the same ?

any help is much appreciated.karma for good advice.

well silencers are softer then punx but urban punx are softer then both

they're pretty similar. But i always loved the flex on the silencers.

Silencers are actually quite stiff I find. I don't like mine a huge amount, but they are a workable park ski and are actually pretty sweet in bumps and decent on groomers. I have never even seen a pair of punx in real life though, so I can't compare them.

thanks i really appreciate the input, are the urban punx so soft that their not very manageable on the slopes ,in particular groomers ? i live on the east cost (pa) so on occasion if its not complete ice i like to take some actuall runs.

they're reeeeally soft, like softer than invaders. how much do you weigh??

i'm about 5'6 and 130lb. i'm looking for some skis in the price range of around 300, another pair i was looking at were the surface watchlifes

i have 171 invaders and my friend has 173 punx and the punx are stiffer. they have a medium flex that is constant through out the ski. the invaders really just flex at the butter zones. the flex of the punx is comparable to addicts, maybe a little softer.
