I turn 18 in January- my dad will be 45- mom 50- sister 30- we r all going to huck our carcasses out the side of a plane in spring- pretty stoked
 
it is, besides skiing, the most fun and amazing thing i've ever done. have you been bungee jumping? b/c thats really sick too

next year for my 21, we are going to vegas for within a 5 days my mom will turn 50, my grandma 75 and me 21.

remember to look around. Theres a lot to look at when you're falling, don't just look straight down. And no matter how much it costs, i advise you to get the video/pictures or whatever they offer. May be expensive, but you will seriously show it to everyone you know. (plus they make some ballin' ass facebook profile pics)

oh, one last note, if you can, ask the instructor if you guys can go out backwards so you can see the plane. Doing a flip is cool and all, but if you really want to realize that you are really out there falling, you'll want to see the plane
 


its really hard to remember that a guys gonna be takin pictures of you, but he'll fly up in front of you and remember to give him one of these.
 
I got my Class C license last year and ever since, my job has been taking video in freefall for tandems/aff students and anyone else that wants one. I work from march to Oct because my drop zone (which is called Skydive Philadelphia in PA if anyone has ever gone), is only open that long. Such an awesome thing though. I recommend anyone and everyone to try it at least once. It is one of the best experiences a person can have. have fun man!
 
i really wanna go but i feel like i'd be too fuckin scared to force myself out of the door. but dam i hope i man up and do it someday
 
i felt like that the first time too, but once i paid a good amount for it, i wanted something for my money. And in any case, once you're in the plane, you pretty much have no choice. And go with some friends, cause if they all do it and you pussy out, you'll never hear the end of it. A little peer pressure never hurt
 
yeah man for sure. my girlfriend really wants to do it and she wants to do it with her so i've got some incentive at this point
 
I didn't realize there were any other serious jumpers on here! You should head down to Arizona for spring break and we can stick some NS stickers on those planes.
 
searchbarred and found a bunch of skydiving threads so i bumped this one. Im going skydiving on the 27th in Lebanon, NH. 14,000 feet up, and i cant wait. Anyone else been skydiving lately or want to go?
