congrats Sig, they needed to replace a henrik/bdog person, but I still think they should film with the creative people of this years super unknown, aka Jack borland and cedric
 
i'm sure they'll get their names out there soon enought, but level 1 isn't think thank or TC, and i'd put will wesson in a completely different category

Well Andreas Hatveit has Sig's last name within his (HaTveit) so maybe that's a clue? I'm really trying here. But then again people don't really know how to pronounce Andreas' last name anyway

prolly the best choice IMO, seems to fit level 1 and even tho he isn't that unknown, it seems like a solid pick since he is most likely not to be a flop.
 
really surprised austin didn't win. if you just compared their edits for this contest, its hard to argue that sig's was better. still gonna be sick on the level 1 team tho

for everyone saying "oh sick but he's not unknown" or "oh there were better choices", i have two things to say.

first, go watch his edit again. its was simply flawless riding, not one wobble, not one arm wave. all around, smooth as fuck riding.

second, the definition of "unknown" these days is so watered down with the popularity of sites like this. so many edits are put out that have so much online traffic that virtually every entry this year has had tons of views before. yeah, sig went to JOSS last year, but did anything really transpire from it? did any of the major film companies pick him up? surprisingly, no, so he deserved a shot at the superunknown title just as much as any other person in the competition did.

the talent level this year was so high, and i thoroughly enjoyed watching all of the other edits, but i think sig will fucking slay the park shoots this spring.

side note: i do believe i'll be buying the esk movie this year, because all of those dudes killed it as well.
 
there were 3 or 4 people i wouldnt have minded winning, and he was one of them. Must have been a tough call between him austin and morello. I think sig proved last joss that he is more than capable of filming with the big dogs though. Goodluck at the shoots sig, if your reading this.

Sig is sweet but, I'd rather of seen Cedrik win his edit was creative and I just liked his style. The level 1 crew has no one like him.
