Sierra nevada college students.....

i put this thread in regionals like a month ago but got 0 responses so i figured i'd put in NSG.

to any SNC students, i've been accepted for the fall semester and im planning on attending. if you guys have any suggestions to what dorms to request, ski pass packages to look into, or any other useful information so i can better prepare myself for upcoming semester, please let me know.

Youre probably better off searching the community on facebook and messaging individuals or joining the fan pages and what not. I know a lot of people that went to Cerro Coso, but none that went to SNC.
Also I would try the resort specific sites.... maybe one of them has a forum. Mammoth's is super busy, but there are very few tahoe people on that one.
 
i thought about going there... but its like 400 dudes and so tiny. go to reno if you want the same skiing but just a better college.
 
I have quite a few friends that have gone/are going to SNC. They all love it, lots have moved from back East and say they're never going back. I went out to visit the campus myself and it's sick, right near the beach and lots of cool kids. My buddies have mostly Northstar and Squaw passes, and I think most places have college/young adult deals. Diamond peak is like 5 min. from the school too, pretty small but secret stashes everywhere. Alpine is awesome too and not too crowded I've heard. They said that it's about 50/50 guys and girls on campus now.
 
passes to northstar/sierra combined are 290 bucks.. thats so good. i know a bunch of people who go there but none that are on NS.. they fucking love it though
