Sierra at Tahoe

Finally my home moutain...nubmer 9, gets some regonition in freeskier...no one else in tahoe made the list now did they? thats what I thot so fuck squaw kirkwood and northstar

yay skiing

 
hhah sierra and northstar are owned by the same people i think, and they are both good mountains (or maybe just parks). Sierra has been put in Snowboarder because they had a good super pipe, you donk.

 
Sierra and Northstar are OK for park, but they are kind of flat mountains compared to Squaw, Alpine, Kirkwood, etc. and get pretty crowded.

 
sierra sucks! the only good thing about sierra is their parks. the rest of the mountain sucks...crowded small and crappy. i went to heavenly this past weekend and jesus that place is awesome! the best skiing ive ever done. northstar is flat but their parks are good and even though i regret goin to those places i still do cause i go that double whammy pass. mainly N* though. how did sierra make it on their? what was the magazine judgin on?

 
^heavenly is pretty awesome huh? i don't think sierra is very flat, but it is small. i love alpine meadows.. and now that eric rosenwald took over the park, it's been sick!

 
^ ya...i didnt mean for it to sound like sierra was flat but N* definately is. i love alpines too. i went there friday and it was awesome! nice work to eric and his crew!

 
personally i like northstar and sierra, if you complain with the double whammy pass you deserve to be shot.

Sierra's parks suck this year. They have everything setup for snowboarders and not really skier friendly. Most of the park crew should be fired, i'm not happy with sierra this year. I ski there atleast 4 days a week. green ar5's or arv's. But oh well its my last year here in tahoe, i can't wait to go back to my home hill.

Heavenly? are you serious? do you enjoy cat-tracks, crowds, gaypers and one park? It's a huge mountain but it has the worst lift system ever, only like 3 runs from each chair, its a rip off and it just sucks. Yuck, i can't beleive someone actually likes that place, i thought only weekend joeys did.

 
what? I thought their park they had on bashful was pretty damn sick. Those jumps were sweet

^^haha...one park? you obviously havent been there in a while! and i dont care about gapers and crowds cause in the trees there are no people. but i agree about the lifts being kinda gay only in the fact that you have to take a ton of different chairs to get to the gondola if youre on teh california side. but thats the only thing thats wrong with it. they have way more than like 3 runs off of chairs. you must only ski the shitty crowded groomers if thats the case

 
i agree with Ghost82nd heavenly is my home mountain and i love it. and if it sucks so bad then why do we have South Shore Soldiers? but yea the crowds blow.

 
who ever thinks sierra at tahoe suck, then you are stupid, it is way better than heavenly for sure, and it is way better than all those other gay resorts around, even northstar
