hahahaha, what a bitch. i was watching the lakers game by that point so I didn't see it but i can not believe he just flopped

I dont understand why he did it ethier, they were winning too.
 
i admit it was a dive, but come on guys, give him a break. the nhl is turning into euro soccer more and more every season. so many players dive and make unexplainable gestures. its not hockey like in the 70s where you could do whatever you want and not get called. the nhl is getting more technical and special teams is more important than ever. dont single out crosby, the majority of players freak out and dive, not just him.
 
you guys are idiots. everyone fucks with him the whole game and he never says anything. i dono who that was on detroit but my team used to do this all the time. you just give a wack at the achilles tendon and it hurts like fuuuuck. if that was any of you guys you woulda been down too.
 
give me a break. first of all, your achilles tendon is covered by the tendon guard on your skate, so there is no possible way Maltby even hit him there.

Secondly, you're telling me Crosby doesn't say anything!? He spends have the game whining to the ref about how someone on the other team touched him.

Crosby has mad skills, but he's a little baby. If he cleaned up his act maybe I would give him more respect, but these incidents happen over and over again.
 
Crosby is such a little bitch. It was great, last time when they came to Detroit for the cup when the Wings kill them, he was bitching because all of the players went to MGM Grand Casino, and because he was 20, he couldn't get in. He might be a good player, but he is a shitty ass person.
 
haha you have no idea what your talking the tendon check is one of the oldest tricks out there. u play hockey?
 
I'm Canadian. I've played competitive hockey my entire life and never seen that happen to anyone...

reality is its hockey, you get slashed every shift. that doesn't mean to flail to the ice everytime someone touches you.
 
Meh hes got great skills but i don't really like the flopping- his attitude will change with experience, just remember he is still a young kid, no doubt he will mature
 
I am from Pittsburgh so obviously im gonna defend Sid the Kid, although i do agree he did exaggerate, you would all probably do the same thing too if you are trying to give your team a better chance at winning. Also, just because they were up by two doesnt mean the game is over. Come on, its Detroit and with the Wings its never over till the clock hits zero.
