Sidewall/Edge pushed in

So I smacked my edollos on a rail spinning off and it caused a little damage, looks like the edge is pushed in and a decent chunk of the sidewall seems to have gone inside the ski and it's about to puncture through the base.

Curious if anything like this has happened to anyone in the past and any suggestions on how to possibly fix this. Hoping this isnt the beginning of the end for them

i would be a little worried about water getting into the ski core via the crack in the sidewall, try and seal it with some epoxy or something. this same exact thing happened to a pair of atomic punx i rode a few years ago - pretty much identical to your bump. i smoked the front edge of a box underfoot and pressed the edge into the ski and it made bump on the ski base. i thought it was going to be the beginning of the end, just like you, but went on to ski another full year on those skis, it never caused core damage, never caught on a surface while i was sliding, and the edge didn't crack or break. mileage may vary of course and just because mine was never an issue doesn't mean yours won't be, but it's probably not going to be a problem.

Great thanks for the reply and advice, did you clear out any of the broken ski matter first or just epoxy it all together as is?

there were no cracks in mine and i was on a road trip so i never even fixed it. but it looks like you can just plop epoxy on as-is. it's not a structural fix it's just to seal it so you won't have water damage your ski. in the future when you ski those again, just make sure to bring them inside after they get snowy/wet. if water creeps into the ski and freezes it will split it apart from expansion, also your core will rot if it stays wet long enough. but i don't expect either of those will happen if you seal it well.
