That pisses me off. What the fuck are they subpoening him for? He cant travel anywhere? It seems like they are just trying to get him in trouble for whatever they can. God dammit, our government is failing us miserably and making us all look like idiots. Michael moore is a true patriot and he will outsmart these fucks. The bush admin thinks they are all like nobel prize winners, but they can be beaten down easily. Honestly, the Bush admin has been the worst 8 years of my life and every other american too.

Is it just me, or on every internet forum you go to, you see "FUCK BUSH" somewhere? Like people seriously hate him. Did you hear they think Pat Tillman was executed now?
 
I did hear about that. It makes you think that maybe he was going to speak out about the war. That is a totally unfounded statement but it makes you think.

I just don't understand how people still support his decisions and the only correlation I can make is support from fox news and Limbaugh. That is really it and still people will not look at the truth.

You know what fuck impeaching Bush he should be brought to trial for the crimes he has committed against the American people.

If you watch michael moore movies like they are a "mockumentary" then they are very good. You can't take what Michael Moore says as fact, because most of the stuff in his movies is made up. He manipulates facts by editing things out of sequence, he makes people seem stupid by asking them questions unrelated to their topic of discussion, etc.

In his movie "Roger and Me" about how GM made Flint Michigan a shitty city, he spends the entire movie trying to get an interview with the CEO of General Motors. He keeps showing footage of him being kicked out of the GM headquarters. What he didn't show was that he had SEVERAL interviews with the CEO.

Michael Moore is an entertainer, don't think of him as anything moore.
 
one question i have to ask if anyone knows the answer to... much too lazy to search around for the answer myself. does michael more ever donate the money he makes off these movies to support the points, beliefs, and ideas he raises in any of his movies?

kind of a dumb question cause i dont even know where he would donate his money to.. but im sure there's plenty of campaigns, support groups, and studies in the US that could use the money towards helping patients who cant afford to save their own lives. or whatever issues he brings up in "sicko". Havent even seen it.

not all of them no, but some of them are taken VERY out of context and others ARE made up/opinions.

Plus he wears that Michigan State hat all the time and he didn't even go there, he went ot the university of michigan-flint.
 
my aunt lives in the same building as michael moore...   hes not bad

and sicko was very informative and something I think all Americans should be aware of. 
 
It actually fails to be entertaining, its just really really dumb. I understand his position fully, and I'm not attempting to undercut his position, it's simply piece of shit film. He asks about a million literally pointless questions, to which he already knows the answers. Its kind of embarrassing really...
 
actually one of the most inspiring documentaries Ive ever seen. Honestly making me think about leaving this fucking disaster of a country at some point.

Moore is hypocritical because he is fat. everything he says is countered by is fatness, i dont like him. a better idol for the liberals is Bill Maher.

I've been denied health coverage for a hematoma I have on my hip for about 5 or 6 years now. It has already started to calcify so I need to get it removed soon before it becomes completely solid. Also it really hurts to sleep on sometimes and it definitely causes muscle pain almost daily. But since it is a 'cosmetic' issue, I had to see a plastic surgeon about it. And since it's not a 'life threatening problem' as they said, my insurance won't cover it. Sooo now I'm stuck with it until I can pay for a plastic surgeon to cut out all the hardened tissue and liposuction the rest.

Fuck my health care.
 
The NHS has gotten so much better since 1997, waiting times down, more beds, more hospitals, many, many more doctors and nurses. It is easily one of the world's premier healthcare systems, and it's free.

We can throw down as hard as we want, do stupid stuff, break our own bones for shits and giggles, safe in the knowledge out government will take care of us.
 
its up to the film distributor to decide who watches it and how much. Moore probably could have pulled strings and gotten that showing for free, but than everyone in the area would have gone to where it was for free instead of the theaters where it wasnt free. And of course he showed it to his friends for free, theyre his friends.
