SICKEST IN-BOUNDS RUN IN NORTH AMERICA ?

I'm gonna poach every single on of these pre season, with like a fleet of 20, so none of you get any freshie.

except for rainbow, that can stay golden

bodybag at crested butte. the whole area to the upper left of where the extremes are is INSANE. secret chute at copper is short but nuts.hole in the wall at winter park and that whole area is sweet too. its definatly somewhere in colorado

jackson hole corbert's coulior. nothing else even comes close.

my mate does his seasons at jackson and he reckons the chute to looker's left of corbets is gnarlier and less tracked. S&S i believe it's called.

yea i dropped into s&s last day of jackson. it was rather frightening, it was at least a 40 foot bomb into the dang thing.

are we talkin' sickest or most difficult, theres a big difference...

S&S is sick, when we were at jackson in March we stole an "easiest way down" sign and put it at the top of corbets, it was there for at least a few hours

back to the question at hand...

Sickest: Schmidiots off the Palisades of Squaw Valley

Most Difficult: The spout off China Wall, if you've seen it, then you know

It's WAY gnarlier than the main part of Corbet's. That is definitely one of the craziest in-bounds line I've seen.

s&s is definately the gnarliest/scariest/craziest in-bounds run. but, is that the same as "sickest?" i don't think so because sickest should include the best snow as well and some other stuff which i am too hungover to think of right now. and that means something/everything at alta is the sickest in-bounds run and i can't pick just one thing... but i'm definately a huge fan of eagle's nest even though it's not too burely for the most part.

Nose to Fingers @ Squaw run 1 on a bluebird pow day.

In line as the sun rises, surrounded by the sickest skiers around, try to stay warm, huge push for the lift, on the lift, adrenaline is pumping, get off at the top, skate like hell, straightline/huge gs turns over the nose, flattens out, blind rollover, it steepens, pow is rolling over your head, skiers on all sides, slow down, slow down, spot your line, drop into your straightline/billygoat/big drop, stomp that shit, cheers from the lift and liftline, roll out shit eating grin, laughing hysterically, back in line breathing hard, watching everyone else assault it.

Sickest in-bounds run hands down

Mjb's and hangman's in Mammoth can be scary drop in's at times, but that Jackson Hole line looked pretty danm rowdy! Unfortunatley I have'nt skied it yet so I could'nt say for sure. I can say that I have dropped some really scary shit at Squaw, and Kirkwood CA, and like the guy said above Crested Butte as well. Bannana chute?

if a line is accessible by lift it was meant for the joeies. any line that is worthy of the word GNAR means you have to bring water for your hike.

This season the sickest line i worked for was at vail, the backside of the mushroom bowl with a foot of powder.

no worries, you got any good stowe shots, they've got some pretty sick runs for the east. If you don't I can post some up

a Peak to Creek on Whistler mountain, although not actually going by the runs for it. Also WHistler Bowl to christmas trees to red chair. On Blackcomb Secret Bowl to Teetering to wherever the hell, Spanky's ladder, Backside of Chimney Ridge, to ski out.

Haha, liberty bowl is definitely not a sick run by any standards. In two feet of powder it's pretty cool because it's so damn long, but skiing a continuous pitch that long gets pretty boring.
