I happen to know Tom and he's actually not a thug..he's a white suburban kid that likes to ski:) my interpretation of a thug would be someone who lives in the ghetto slangs drugs and partakes in gang violence also could be someone who tends to bully others around..another interpretation of the word thug is the abbreviation for Tony Hawks Underground... As Tupac defined it, a thug is someone who is going through struggles, has gone through struggles, and continues to live day by day with nothing for them. That person is a thug. and the life they are living is the thug life.

Well I guess that means that the are no "thugs" in skiing? Well, what would you define thug as (skiingwise) I dont care what Tupac says about skiers. "Thug" just like many other words, can have many connotations. Thug to Tupac can mean "someone who is going through struggles, has gone through struggles, and continues to live day by day with nothing for them". "Thug" as defined by skiers can mean "steezy" or "stylish" as you wish.
Now don't go telling other people that Tom Wallisch isn't "thug", because freeskiing has its very own and personalized definition to the word "thug"

That's the thing..I would never use the word "thug" in a skiing sense because the two do not correlate....I swear kids on this website say the most stupid things..I don't know why I waste my time on here
 
People with common sense should easily tell the differnce between the two, so I personally don't see the big deal

However, most skiers would just call Tom and other skiers doesn't have problems or however you would like to call the real "thug". No, we just call him (and others) that because someone decided to play some Biggie Smalls while making a ski edit. "thug" is simply used to describe one's style in the skiing world. As I already stated, there are two meanings to thug. Tupacs definition and skiing's definition. Now, if you dont mind, I think this poor guy would just like to sell his "thug" (Let me specify; the skiers definition) pants. There's no real big problem to be discussing here

Seems to my like the videos suggest that they are "thugs", so why are we hating on me? Go hate on 4bi9 if you feel this way
 
Man you're all agaisnt the whole thug thing. I have absolutely no problem. But why are you against it if that's the way you chose to dress? To me thats getting shit twisted. And insulation and what not I think isnt an excuse.

im not. never said i was agianst it i just dont like it being refered to as thug cuz that leads poeple outside the industry to believe that those kids are a bunch of low life hoodlems. when in fact they are extreamly talented athelets who most of wich are in college.
 
I chose to wear tall shit because I'm over 6 ft tall it just fits my style never said I dressed "thug" or acted like that

Well....... There is a lot of controversy about this whole thug shit.

People go back and forth... there really isn't a winner EVER in this battle. I guess skiers being called thugs or Gs is based upon opinion and you can't argue with opinions.
