Pretty much one of the doper companies in the ski world right now, def snag up some of their poles people... You 100% will not be let down.

I use have used sickstixkz the last 3 seasons and have been overly pleased with my results. I have never broken a pair and they are always coming out with rad graphics. It's always cool to support the small companies too.

I honestly am not impressed with my sickstickz. Both my powder baskets broke within like two days, one of my grips came off and I had to glue it back on, and the straps are a bitch and a half if they pull through. Sure the co steeze are cool graphics but the overall quality could be improved a ton.

This is a STEAL! These Poles are way sick. I have been using them for the past two seasons and have not a single complaints. ORDER UP!

you must suck at life. How can you brake a ski pole unless you try. I've had 4 or 5 pairs of sick stickz and they always held up to my skiing. The ended braking them in anger on rails and shit but they held up under reasonable stress. Stop trolling dude, these poles are definitely worth your money and this company is pretty much the only company every in this industry to focus completely on poles

its really, really easy to break or bend ski poles. so dont pay money for them. go to the goodwill, a garage sale or a ski swap and snag some for >5 dollars.

The CO Steeze was our first pole from back in 2007. Over the last 4 years we have learned which components hold up and which ones don't. We also offer a lifetime warranty on straps, grips, baskets, plugs, and tips with a limited 2 year warranty on shafts. Shop with confidence NS!

how is there a market for $70 poles? I just really don't understand why someone would spend that kind of money on a product that has little to no affect on your overall skiing experience. Especially for someone like me who generally goes through at least a couple pairs of poles a season, why would I spend money on that when I can go to the thrift store and pick up a pair for 2 bucks?

I'd like to hear reasoning on why someone spends more than 10 bucks on a pair of poles.

Scott Poles are Mad more expensive than Sick Stickz and half the ski community shreds those. Support a small up and coming company and save a dollar while your at it.

The market for $70 dollar ski poles is much larger than the market for $2-$10 ski poles. Each year there are ~500,000 pairs of ski poles sold in the U.S. alone at an average price of $50. If you look at the average price sold in just specialty retailers (meaning not large chain retailers like Sports Authority, Dicks Sporting Goods etc) the average price is much higher. And a product that has "little to no affect on your overall skiing experience" - this statement couldn't be more incorrect. Ski poles are an essential part of your "skiing experience", they act as an aid in balance and initiate turns.

As for the reasoning behind why someone spends more than 10 bucks on a pair of poles, well if you need more than what I have just explained above, then PM me because I'll have to go into how a product is manufactured, brought to market, sold, etc.

I realize that there are that many poles sold, and that it is in fact a large industry. But I just can't grasp why it is. By "little to no affect on skiing experience" I mean that if you have a $5 pair you're going to notice absolutely no difference than skiing with a $150 pair. So why would someone spend that much for maybe a few ounces difference? And I'm talking for the type of skiing which this site is focused around where I'm sure there isn't one person who can say they haven't broken at least a couple pairs of poles. But I'm really only talking about this market. I do a lot of cross country and tele touring as well and I have myself a pair of $120 adjustable poles. But for skiing park, I just don't get it. Especially when everyone has these useless little stubs that really could be cut off broom handles. Maybe I'm missing something.

I think the reason why you go through so many pairs of poles a season is because you are using old shitty poles from a thrift store. Next time you go to your local thrift store with your gypsy friends you should ask the people that work there where they keep the "special good poles"....who knows you may have to spend an extra dollar or two but you could score some nicer ones.

I can assure you that you will notice a difference between a cheap pair of poles vs. a more expensive pair. The grip makes a difference - typically the more expensive the poles, the nicer the grip (rubber instead of firm PE, even the shape has more detail and fits your hand better), the nicer the aluminum/shaft (stronger and lighter = lasts longer), tungsten carbide tip vs. steal (stronger and penetrates ice better), interchangeable basket system (switch from small basket for park skiing to bigger basket for pow skiing). Aside from higher components, we would like to think we have added value over your $5 poles due to the graphics we print on poles. I know plenty of people on this site that have never broken a pair of poles. Not everyone skis park with broom handles. This site speaks to more people than strictly park skiers. You yourself are on here and just told me that you like to cross country ski and tour...

okay so what? I shouldn't even have to get baskets replaced, they should be more durable and last longer.

Are you the guy who was spinning donuts in the parking lot at breck that morning? Also, we switched up the material we were using last season, its a lot softer and we haven't seen any issues.

haha yeah man. that was fun as hell. but word! I wasn't hating it's just now I have half a pow basket on one pole and a regular basket on the other hahahah
