I don't know about putting things in your ears, especially if you haven't seen a doctor. Not something I would do.

Definitely keep warm all the time, that always helps. Just make sure you rest as much as possible. Stay hydrated, that makes it easier for your body to recover.

Another thing I can recommend highly is ginger tea (in fact, tea in general is good). You make it by boiling up five or six slices of fresh ginger in hot water for about 10 - 15 mins, and add some lemon or orange pieces if you wish. Then pour & drink.

Hope you get better soon.

thanks man i really appreciate your concern im gonna make some hot tea and ive slept for over 24hrs im bored out of my mind so i treated myself to cleaning my room hahaa (im at that stage of boredum. but yeah thanks man

I'd try and keep stuff out of my ears if it was me. Keep hydrated and take vitamin c? Never had an ear infection before. I know how to get better with like a cold. Chicken noodle soup

Yeah I forgot this. Chicken soup has apparently been proven to work wonders when you are ill. Not only does it provide proper nourishment, there are also thought to be properties in it which can help your immune system fight viruses.

Hope you had a nice Christmas!

Well, Christmas eve I started throwing up blood for a good 45 mins, then drove to my hospital 2 mins away, but it's a small town and the hospital couldn't do much, I was transported by ambulance to strong hospital in Rochester (about an hour and 10 minute drive) and went from there, slept and woke up on Christmas in the hospital, got out. by 12 o clock Christmas day and couldn't go home since the doctors wanted me to be by the hospital so I went to my grandparents in fairport (15mins away) so my Christmas went without seeing much of my family, sucks. First time like this too.
