this is a Bode Miller rant and rave, so if you dont want to read this stop now and cut to the last big paragraph and then post whatever you want. this will be the last i discuss this particular topic because it just pisses my off so much.
in the USA Today sports section where you can write in "your view" some ignorant asshole said, "The corporate sponsors and all the citizens who donated to the U.S. ski team must be thrilled with Bode Miller. He claims he had an awesome olympics, which was nothing more than a all-expenses paid vacation to Italy.
Since he chose to party into the wee hours before a few of his events and then scoff at the press coverage, its time to 'retire' bode from the team.
I salute all our other athletes who did their best and win or lose represented the United States the grace and courage. Bode, you're a disgrace to the sport!"

this pisses me right the fuck off!! Starting with the last paragraph. "I salute all our other athletes that did there best win or lose....." Bode did his best you fucking moron!! Do you actually know how f-ing hard it is to be an olympian let alone one who medals! My guess, know you wouldnt, your some fucking factory worker who might ski occassionally on the weekends. He is an american AND represented the US well. he placed highly in his events and would have won gold easily in slalom if he hadnt hooked a gate. And by hooking a gate that just means hes actually trying to win and cut those gates fucking better than anyone else you faggot. Secondly he's not a disgrace to the sport. He is the sport of downhill in the US. No ones better than him and you wouldnt even give a damn if he wasnt as good as he is.
Second paragraph. Who the fuck cares if he parties his ass off!! your telling me you've never gone to work, school, whatever hungover. or high or whatever. If boozing the night before was illegal or wrong, then the IOC would get rid of booze!! plus i dont hear you getting made at say our US soldiers who prob smoke weed and go shoot Iraq's, is there a difference there? no, i dont think so. If he does it, its prob to take a little of the edge off so he be that much BETTER, you faggot.
First paragraph. HE did have an awesome olympics. Have you forgoten the point of the olympics. It to compete against the rest of the world, not necessarily win. TYpical AMERICAN idiot who thinks everything is about winning. Did you ever happen to think that, bode might have raced his best time on that track and somebody else, say the winner had a flat our awesome day. NO you didnt and bc of that your and idiot..
Im sorry but when i read this i thought once again that Bode did nothing wrong. love him hate him, hes a great skier. one of the best in the world. And to him its not about winning!! its about HAVING FUN-like we all do- and putting your best effort down. ANd there's no question in my mind that he did just that!!
