Sick new band, the xx

relatively new band called "the xx", its been hyped pretty hard so you may have heard of them... but their self titled album is really sick, i recommend listening to it from the start to see why...

and you do realize your not in the pretentious, underground music circle you seem to think you are... the xx have been hyped up like mad, and anyone who follows music will have heard about them by now.... jesus, they were named one of the top ten albums of the year by fucking rolling stone, this kind of album is destined to become popular, there are plenty of obscure indie bands out there to listen to that will always stray from mainstream, and this just isn't one of them.

intro is a pretty basic song, speeding up any rapping to match it would not be that hard at all.

the skill it took to produce it is irrelevant. The lyrics of biggie and tupac just go very well with the vibe of the xx song.

Yep they're going to blow up. The fact that I have found them recently only proves this, as I'm not really in the most underground circles.
There are some really sick electro remixes to their songs too. Just a really nice vibe.

I still know more people who don't know who they are than do know who they are. People were talking about an MGMT type of "blow up", which definitely hasn't happened yet. At least not where I live. That's more of what I was talking about.
