Cool pics, I always love lightning pictures.

I once had an awesome opportunity to take some picture of lightning, at that time I only had this picture camera

That camera only had an auto mode and the longest exposure was 2 seconds...

And after a few hours of taking a few thousand picture I had a few where there was some actual lighting in them and I'm pretty happy with the result.

I would like to try this now with a DSLR where you can go in manual...
