Sick ass all around park skis

Im looking for some nice park skis (100% park) for my summer setup, Windells, Woodward, and into next year. I am from Wisconsin, but travel out west often, and to the UP eh. I weigh about 135 and I'm 5'8 (and growing) I compete competitively and Id say Im pretty dam good. I had the Punx this year and the Suspects last year. I found that I like a playful poppy ski, but want a ski that can withstand big jumps. I am also wondering if a flexier ski is a bad idea for jumps? I do lots of rails, and playing around in the park. Im about 50/50 rails jumps. Ive been doing a lot of research and found that I may have some options in the Filthy Riches and some Armadas. I like the quality and durability in the FR's, but Im unsure of its flex pattern playfullness etc. I like with the Armadas your getting a pretty good ski, and you have the options between the Thalls Ar7s Halos and Alpha 1's and not to mention more sizes. Need help here bros. +kk

Well FRs will be a medium-stiff. Definitely more stiff than punx but probably not as much as suspects. However, the rocker and elliptical sidecut make them very playful and catch free for rails. I would love to pick up a pair, but I'm buying kenworthys pipe cleaners for next season.

i only read the first few sentances but why do you want nice skis for your summer setup? they'll probably get fucked up and dirty

^this. If you do end up getting some new shiny FRs, definitely use the punx on the summer setup and save the new skis for hood/other real mountains.

I really think we need more info here. What kind of skis do you like/what do you like out of a ski? Playfulness, stability, quickness, waist width, etc.

If you're looking at armada, I would say that description closer fits the pipe cleaners. They're softer than the ar7s, but stiffer than the t-halls, so they're still pretty playful, but will be better on big jumps than the t-halls, especially with the race base.

Don't buy new skis to fuck up on the dry slope. If u must buy skis then get thrashers and then get some nice new ones at the beginning of the year!
