Sick and skiing

i have this horrible cough and keep spitting out mucus and my throat hurts.

worse timing too cuz i just started skiing this season these past two days so the cold air isnt helping should i take a day off and get better or fuck it. i reaalllly wanna still ski tho

and my coughings at a point where im coughing my guts out every other minute

take it easy, get rest.

I've pushed myself waaay too far skiing and biking a couple times, wound up in the hospital with extremely swollen tonsils once. You're better off taking a few days until you feel better instead of being sick for weeks to come.

You should smoke some weed. Bob Marley says its good for bronchitis ..... unless you got the bronchitis from smoking.. cuz in that case... you should smoke some menthols.

It's early season, so unless you're in Jackson or Targhee, is your snow really that good yet? Unless it's a pow day, I'd say take a day or two off, recover, and get back at it. Otherwise if you're stubborn, drink tons of water to help thin the mucus, take some cough meds, get adequate sleep, green tea, eat healthy, and don't drink or smoke til you're better.

I’ve had the same sickness for about a week and a half and I’ve skiied twice. It’s managable but i have to pull over to the side of the trail and cough up some mucus a few times everyrun.
