Where is all the coverage of SIA 16. I have searchbared *(spelling?), seen the few posted brands and also have seen Twigs coverage of the European version. Is there no general coverage?
 
A lot of brands didn't go this year, and the ones that did posted up a mostly full catalog anyways. Also the LITERALLY 12 PAGE THREAD that has been near the top of this forum for the past couple weeks.

A lot of bigger brands didn't show up, there was about half as many people walking around this year, you never had to weasel through people in the halls...it was depressing.

But we still got really drunk so it was fun!

Yeah, from what I saw seemed like a party with a tradeshow occurring on the side. I recently talked to another small business owner in skiing. He attended the event this year and informed me that it was the last year he would be doing so.

The only reason I would ever pay money to have Bloom at SIA is to catch the eye of potential retailers. But retail is on a major decline! The internet has made shopping way to convenient and easy and retailers from electronic stores to ski shops are losing business as a result. Plus retail sucks when it comes to pricing structure. Online business FTW.

Give it another twenty years and I bet retail is completely dead. Your groceries will be delivered by drone too.

Don't you tease me with such promises! But online is the way that the industry is going. Retailers know the product of most of the big brands and order mostly the same thing every year, and new retailers are usually a hassle.

Still love going to SIA for the partying though!
 
Its all in videos not threads. Look out SIA 2016 and loads of videos (mostly from Gavin Rudy if you wanna search bar his name) will pop up. You have to choose videos or names too, not just the forum
