Here we are, almost 4 months past, and none of us have been reimbursed.. not to mention this Greg fellow has not even had the common courtesy to at least apologize.. let alone explain why we haven't seen any of his stuff.

So, I deem Whiteout Headwear completely illegitimate (yes, that means not-legit kids).

Its understandable to have problems with a small business and make common shipping mistakes. But to completely ditch a company, while transactions are being made and TAKE the money and not even GIVE the products to the buyers is absolutely absurd. He stole our money, in theory, and now he's out somewhere skiing. Now, I might have had sympathy for him back 3 months ago, but if he comes to this thread crying for forgiveness, I will surely turn him down. If he's broke and he claims he can't pay us back, well that's his own fucking fault, he took our money and we want it back.

I strongly advise no one buy from White Out Headwear in the future.. The hats cost more than EC Headwear but are no where near the same quality. Although I never got my hat, my friend has one and its big, stiff as fuck and it doesn't even fit my head. So yeah, if he tries to send me mine, I won't take it. He needs to refund me my money 100%.

This is a load of bullshit. I wouldn't be ranting about this if he would have just sent one thing explaining himself. He could have even posted in here. But no, he's either too scared or too fucking retarded to bother.
 
ok so its time that if any one knows where he is that they go get out money. someone said he is living in the woods. well who fucking cares. he needs to go to an internet cafe spend $5 and give us our money back. and I would think he would have been able to log on more the once this summer. this is gay and i want my money back. now.
 
Yeah this is so stupid, I e-mailed him and still haven't gotten a response. LOOOOOAAAAAAD of BS.
 
not to mention the obviouse but if your really that pissed, fill out a pay pal claim, bitching on a forumn to a bunch of people you don't know, isn't going to do shit. pay pal claim, and then post back what has happened. i bet you get alot further, alot quicker....
 
I'm pretty sure claims are only valid if through online retailers or ebay... not miscellaneous uses like newschoolers... but im not positive..
 
Sad to see someone completly ditch a company like this and take fellow ns'rs money.

Hopefully he eventually comes through and gets everyone refunded.

In the meantime if anyone was super super into buying one of these hats, i'll sell someone the brown and ozone one for cheap
 
everyone who has contacted me has been payed back more than they were owed. if everyone wants it to be impossible for me to sell on NS ever again, thats fine, i accept that as punishment. i got no excuses, I fucked up. i repayed more than neccessary. that was my idea, people told me how much i owed them, i tacked on extra. hate all you want, its over and done with.
 
He's telling the truth when he says he payed people back. I got a 20 dollar refund... But I'm still sort of curious as to why you didn't just tell any one of us that there would be some sort of a hold up..
 
I was in a huge hurry getting out of NH to hood in may, I was trying to raise funds for a trip that i wasnt sure was going to be able to happen 5 days before i left, i fucked up royally shipping everything out at stage one, mixed and matched adress details and shit, i was super scatter brained. I decided I was going to be able to go on a wednesday and then left saturday...my mom called me and said everything was jammed up at the PO becuase im retarded, so I emailed her the adresses, but she just said she would send it out to me when i got an adress situated, that took a couple weeks, the stuff never got to me though, i guess my ma never got around to it. I had no money, which i realize is not a valuable excuse, but its the straight up truth, I owed my buddy 400$ for putting up my half of the apartment we got after a month of sleeping on a homies floor. I payed him back but needed to be sure I had enough $ to make it from Hood to colorado for school at the end of august, so extra cash had to be held onto. when i got here i got a refund check for $1500, but i had to put up 900$ of that to get my apartment here after a month of camping cause my roomate couldnt put up her share and the rest had to go to books. BUT my savior came in the form of a gaper yard sale, I found apair of 5 or 6 year old Rossi 9S's with FKS bindings on them for 30$, sold the skis on ebay for $75 anf the bindings for 140$, that gave me the $ to pay people back. i still got a bit to pay back, but i have some more stuff on ebay that will take care of that. I have paid people back before ive bought myself a pass or new gear, both of which are greatly needed. i dont expect any sympathy and im not trying to put out excuses, i just hope this makes it easier to understand.
 
sounds legit. the guy was going through hard times. his thoughts were discombobulated, give this guy another chance. and that was so great that he added extra money to you guys who didin't get your stuff. very good on his part.

If I ever came off like a dick, it was only because I thought I got scammed.

he posted a sale... and heeps of us brought shit off him, its been a month, and nothing, he wont reply to pms or anything, this isnt just to me, but like 10 people from the sale
 
yeah dude obviously doesnt learn from his mistakesid be happy with an explanation but no one has heard from himwish i saw this before i boughti just want my shit pleaseits a dope shirt and was hoping to get it at the end of spring break.
If im waiting till december like those other kids, sorry but im not going tot be as understanding as them even if in 6 months you write us a little sob story. and give us a few more dollars than what we paid you.

 
claims work until 45days after purchase, i think it said paypal cant do anything after 45days but it would still be recommended to do one.
 
im not gunna lie, he sold a bunch of that shit to buy my LDC suit. he was totally legit with paying me......soo sorry to say but i prolly have some of your money. It got me a new pair of walls. sucks you guys got fucked over though.

Happened to me buying some FKS's off ebay from him. Took almost 2 months, I filed a paypal claim. FILE A PAYPAL CLAIM NOW!! They will shut down his paypal account and place a hold on it eventually. Theres power in numbers so if all you guys do it before the 45 days, there way more proof of him being a fraud. Even though I got my bindings he blamed somebody else for his mistakes, completely bad business.
