Shreditor Questions

Hi all,

I'm an advanced all-mountain skier who's looking to get into some more park, and I've pretty much decided on the K2 Shreditors. I just have a few questions:

1. Should I go for the 92's or the 102's, for waist width?

Since I ski at Sunday River, ME, I'm inclined to lean towards the 92s, because they're what I'm used to and we usually don't get dumps of powder. I also am fond of moguls and tight spots where I need a thinner ski. However, when we get over 4 or 5 inches here, I feel like my 87mm waist skis are underwhelming, and I've loved the few, wider skis I've demoed. In short, should an east coaster get the 92s or 102s?

2. What length should I get? I'm 5' 9'', 130 lbs., and an advanced skier. I'm still young, however, and might grow a few inches taller, based on genetics. So should I go for the 170 cm or 177?

Thanks

Im not super familiar with east conditions so i couldn't help you, but no doubt go for a 177 length. The rocker will make em feel shorter, and that is an appropriate length for you, especially for all mountain performance

If you ski park more than 65% of the time go with the 92....other wise the 102 is the perfect EC all mtn ski that can crush park also

Mainer here: based on the typical conditions that seem to repeat annually, I would say go with the 92's. From what I've heard, the 102's are noodles and probably won't hold up too well on the imminent icy conditions. If your just getting in to park, again, the 92's because the 102's will probably be a little hard for you to handle there. Hope this helps!

I bought the 92 lasy year and loving them, most of the time im a park rat but im going on a powder trip this winter and i'll bring them too.

Hey bud! Glad you're hyped on the Shreditor line!

The 92's and the 102's ski a bit different from each other. The 92's are gonna be a little stiffer with a little less rocker to help ya stomp out park or urban (Sean and Clayton were on these most of the year), and the 102's will be a bit softer and more playful for the whole mountain with a little more rocker for some extra float and butter. Just kind of depends on what flavor of skiing you enjoy more.

For sizing I'd definitely go 177. Even if you stop growing you'll still appreciate a longer, more stable ski once you get used to the extra swing weight.

Hope that helps!
