thats right kids. Lief's idea! A team shred off with a train formate (4 people per team train). D-crew vs. U.N.GNAR. Any other crews who wanna compete are welcome. Lief can give more detail. Sounds like it will be the next big thing in comps for Alpine and Boreal. All the shred teams better be polishing their skills. First shred-off starts soon.

Hey hey, let's just all kick back and let the skiing do the talking. Shred Offs will be one of those events that don't even need judging. This is all for good ol' fun.

Squaw and Alpine kids all throw down uber hard so it should be fun.
 
Thats right. it's all in fun, after all thats the point of skiing. We're just trying to push our progression and have a good time. It's a nice change from your typical day on the mountain. PLus I know U.N.GNAR will win ever time so that will make it extra fun.

hahaha i am totally the captain of the Al Bundies. Actually I love my new life, and I'm probably the only guy with a new wife a new baby and three new pairs of skis out there. Not to mention my new fit is beyond steezin. I may not have my rail balance back yet, cuz of my zombie knee, but I'll at least look the best standing in line. In like four years my family will be bustin our own trains that will be so progressive. I'm gonna pull Bellavida onto the flat box with her harness on next spring you watch.
 
Watch out man. My wife and have our three-month old in the swing practicing 180s right now. Just last night she gooed and gaaed about needing her first setup. Maybe we can get the babies to judge? They have a unique perspective on style and fun. lol
 
if ur talking about david wise then i know him. but yeah, that was meant as a friendy challenge to the other mountains
 
i got you guys beat, i've already got my daughter doing corked 810s onto our coffee table, with 270s out. whhaaat, she has mad, fold her arms when mad at you steeze too. married life is great, 5 yrs in feb. maybe the married guys could judge though, i suck.

Are you guys goin up tomorrow? I need to get up there and test out my new knee. With any luck perhaps it was donated by black cadaver and I'll have more style on the dance floor now. I just wanna ski.
 
dude you have a three month old girl? Me too thats rad. when was she born? Bellavida was born on Labor day Sep 5th. Does your wife ski bro? we should totally meet up and our girls can start their own crew called the "Premies" or the "Chubsters" or something sick. Plus our wives can kick it in the lodge together with the babies and we can trade off with them. That's how I'm getting days this year.

he's just saying that we have an extremely fashion conscious skier in our group. it's not a diss, it's just good to have fashion police in your crew.
 
yea and who ever said skiing like a girl is a diss.. i mean if i was a guy and somoene told me i skied like kim mcglothin i would take that as a compliment.... seeing how the one time when a guy followed you he fell on his face and sprained his knee

Nickolas, just because i like doing my hair, listening to hillary duff and crying to sappy movies doesn't mean I'm any less studly. But having said that, I am all for the train steeze this season, i see big things coming of this...if nothing else it'll look downright sick to the people on the lifts.
 
and for the record, i don't actually watch the OC, and I don't cry during sappy movies...unless a dog dies, cuz that shit's sad, like k'mon why you gots to be kappin the dog, dogs just want to roll around and pee on nice lawns, they're furry bundles of love. WORD!

and wait a minute how is anyone gonna say that Mack is the most fashion conscious D-Crew member? Leif is by far, and all in all the whole crew is steezed to the limits this year with fashion fits.

And not that having a gay teammate would make us Orage legal but its essentially the same as having a girl on the crew.

Not that you ski like a fag Becca or Kim, I just mean it has to count for something.
 
haha thanks becca, but im sure you wouldn't take that as a compliment. haha someday i hope to ride as well as you. DCREW is way more worried about their fashion on the snow then the GNAR crew. it's shown very clearly
 
Hannah was born Sept. 13. We're in Washington right now, but looking for work down near Truckee. If we can make that happen, we should meet up and make the rest happen. Gotta get the kid on skis soon. I'm thinking the pouch method under my jacket will have to do for this year. My wife skis, but not enough. And the "trade off", hell yeah. Gotta get some riding in.

and gnar crew is too gnarly to worry about fashion, we let our skiing do the talking... haha well maybe we care a little bit, but not to the point of wearing a tie while skiing, Leif!!! hahaha

I know we'll have to one up our shit to keep up with the rapid D-crew progression. I'm just waiting for it to stop raining and start snowing though.
 
I want to take you guys back to that rail, it was super fun. Im thinking a merger of Dcrew and UnGnar .... I think we might buy you out or something , possibly a hostile takeover.

as for D-crew taking over U.N.GNAR..... that will never happen, but there could be a definate alliance. ya know work'n together to slay everything.
