bumping because i recently updated my setup.

fully diy shoulder rig (besides the 50mm and the camera haha)

still waiting on an LCD to make myself an EVF, it shipped today from New Mexico so i should be done by the end of the week. pretty stoked on how this turned out.

most definitely less than that. $45ish for the plastic for the rails, and less than $20 for the tubing for the shoulder mount. You need to have access to a drill press and tap and die set and a welder though, and a pipe bender if you want the shoulder mount to be shaped like that. I can give you all my measurements and whatever if you want
 
wow youve got some amazing stuff. love the jib and cable cam especially. nice design on the folding dolly too
 
Here is some pics of my dolly that I just built. Took probably 4-5 hrs of fabrication and designing.

Basicly i just went to my local hardware store and looked around what would work.
it is a very simple design.
25 dollars in total.
i followed this only for the bearings part but other then that i made up my own

fig rig i built under $10

- 4 3/4" conduit pipes pvc cemented together wrapped in electrical tape

- 2 4" steel plates separated bye 2 washers and weather proofing tape on the plate for padding

- 2 tennis grips

- locking nuts on the bolts and 2 steel brackets

its a nikon d3100 with a 18-55 mm lens, a polarized filter, and wide angle attachment

its very durable and sturdy camera mounts perfectly with a 1" 1/4-20 bolt

cost in under $10 for everything

heres my diy handle/rig that im going to use for my t2i and kit lens. i dig it a ton. its pretty much pvc (covered in black electrical tape). and its very sturdy because the joints are all glued together too.
also thats my custom gobroo handle i made too. haha. sketch but it gets the job done with ease.
