Show and prove

haha that movie was so horrible it was funny to watch sometimes. I only like 5 shots in the whole movie, Pettits shit and tanners cab cork 9 in the seirras.

as far as filmmaking, it was a total joke. Watch TBC, that is a good movie.
 
ya im not hatin on tanner i love his style and shit but he made too many segs of just him...there were like 5 segs. of just tanner throughout the movie...i know it's his movie but shit just put 1 or at the most 2
 
show and prove had its problems for sure. No music, taking in the background was annoying, too much tanner, way too many criticals, not enough park riding/jumping skillz. But overall, the movie gave off a good vibe, I am undecided on whether or not I like the movie, but basically I like the fact that it was different.
 
nope I fell asleap watching LSS. it was the biggest dissapointment ever. I mean the trailer was amazing. but then what happened to the movie? Onistly I don't want to keep seeing 20 shots of the same rail or BC jump. really you should never have more then 3 shots of the same feature in any segment. and the movie oppened up with 3 shots of Stefan Thomas on the same jump. and then that jump re apeared again latter in the movie multiple times. Next we have the urban segment, first of all that song? the streetlife? what was berman thinking and thos e shots at the start of the ugly people smoking were useless and served no real purpose or had any entertainment value. Then that segment starts out with way to many shots of that ledge that was obvouly hard, but it was way to slow. maybe they should have started at the first down instead they started at the very top, with waht appeared to be a ride on. I think I fell alseap durring this segment. Then later I really don't want to see 15 shots of colby trying to get that supper long rail. but the rest of his segment was good. Also Steel's and Travise Reed's segment' really sucked. that whole springbreak skit was not funny but stuped. leading to another horable song. with no spectacular editing or skiing in it. The park segment was ok. Laim's segment was good but not all it's craked up to be. Honistly the movie was the second worse movie this year. and it was a decided step down from SH6. But honistly with this sight berman could make a 20 minute edit put togeather in about 5 minutes and everyone here would say it was amazing because it had level 1 writen on the cover.
 
i like how between the two trailers you see vanulars entire segment. and i forgot rainville was in the movie till i saw the trailer again. way too much tanner, and what was with the low angle pow? if i wanted that i'd watch some 80s warren miller.
 
exactly, except I think Shanghai was a horrible movie as well. I saw no creativity in the cinematography or editing, and they were both just urban rails with music. It was like watching a skate video without the fisheyes. The footage looks way to digital, so it looks VERY amature in my opinion.

but yeah the thing that pisses me off the most is all the godamn rails. Urbans are cool but I dont want to see more than 15 minutes of urbans in a movie. one of the reasons why I liked TBC so much is because there were so few rails.
 
I would not say that Shanghai 6 was crap, but yes, there are way to may urban rails. if you ask me the perfct # of urban rails to have is the same as in TBC or Theory-3
 
watched show and prove once and felt that was enough...i guess its cool that they tried to do something different but i just didnt like it.
 
LSS was a joke. Shangai six was pretty good. But i've never seen show and prove. But from what they've been saying i don't think i'll watch it now.
 
wen i bought it, i bought it along with "ski porn" and "push" and i thought these 2 were made better, but i still liked it alot, iz kinda cool with the whole story line of CR's injury and everything
