Should my friend be examined?

So I have a homie who is very out there. He has a very dark sense of humour and at first it was innocent burn now I think hes going overboard.

He showed me the entire video of the New Zealand Mosque shooting and everytime someone got shot he’d make some snarky comment like “Bam Bitch” and “he fucking blew his balls off you see that?” While laughing

Today he got banned from Facebook for posting a meme of a squatting slav in a tracksuit with an AK47.. his caption was “when you plan a trip to New Zealand”

He always watches videos on Bestgore about people getting muttilated and or seriously injured. He finds a lot of them funny, his reaction is not typical.

He is pretty racist too for a brown person. He’s brown with the southern redneck “Murcia” mentality. Which is he believes Murica is the best nation in the world unopposed. Probably because his family is full of veterans.

something that could explain his obscenity might possibly be due to the fact that he was homeschooled after 5th grade. He was also in an Indian Boarding School before that. He doesn’t understand social cues very well.

i feel like in the future this could either cause him to harm himself or others. I don’t want this dude to be the next unibomber or campus shooter. What do ou guys think, is he mental doesn’t he need to see a psychiatrist?

Edit: Facebook, and IG have blocked this guy more than 3 times each for making inappropriate distasteful and straight up mental remarks.

Have you every asked him if he genuinly finds that shit funny? Sometimes memes like that are funny not because its genuinly rooted in comedy but because its so bad/F'd up that you cant help but find it hysterical (im sure this sounds extremely weird, not really sure how to word what im thinking).
 
I'm all for letting everyone have their beliefs but I think I have enough friends I'd take a hard pass on that. First I don't want to see that kind of shit anyway, I know it exists but I don't need to see it. There's no point imo. I sure as fuck wouldn't get off to it. And generally not a fan of racists.

I haven't seen this many red flags since the table tennis medals ceremony at the Olympics. This guy is showing similar patterns to a serial killer/mass shooter and needs some serious psychiatric help. Don't be complicit in his radicalization

I also forgot to mention he chugs cheap, straight up nasty $7-$18 liquor, Without a chaser like literally on the daily.

In the Morning, he has drinks , he has drinks before he goes to work and during work as well as after he gets off (insert laughing emoji and death emoji).

Sounds like aspergers or some sort of high function autism. Maybe even sociopath but idk him, I'd be kind concerned for sure. It sounds like typical 4chan shit, they're lots of autistic/socially broken people there. Weaponized autism was coined on there.
 
Those are serious red flags my guy. The fact alone that he wants you to watch those videos in the first place, he's in a bad way. I honestly would encourage you to speak about to someone either related to him or someone you're close with

I love the early days of Mayhem, after Dead shot himself his friend ran to a fucking kiosk to get a camera, went back, rearanged the gun and the knife and took pictures before calling the cops/ambulance. You probably knew this as you know about him, still a fucked and funny story.

Dude that's actually fucked up, talk to his parents or something cause watching murder videos for fun is a clear sign hes fucked in the head and is probably gonna become dangerous, like that sounds like psychopath shit.
 
Talk to him about it. If needed talk to his friends and family about it. Then get the hell out of there, these people are a waste of time, zero benefits in that relationship.

Hard to tell without knowing them myself. There's nothing about dark humor/gore or death videos that's makes a person actually a threat, but other things could be indicators. I know so many completely normal people who watch that kind of stuff, just something kids do for the shock value. But if he seems a bit off, who knows. None of that is any kind of indicator of being a violent threat, but if he actually talks about hating certain people seriously that's a whole different story
 
eh i wouldnt worry about it, if you like him as a friend then keep him as a friend. just cause someone has a dark sense of humor and watches fucked up shit doesnt make them crazy

Sounds like he has a serious alcohol problem, probably fuels is reckless behavior, that's the issue here. if you want to help your friend, get him to rehab, alcoholism is no joke.

Couple questions... 1) How old is this dude 2)Have you talked to him about it?

I would say if he blows it off when you ask him about it go to someone higher up, such as a Psychologist, get advice from them and go from there... There may be past trauma that makes him like that, but either way it doesn’t sound like he, or the people around him, are 100% safe... Er on the side of caution if you think that lives could be at stake.... Bottom line he needs help.
 
Eh it's hard to tell these days. Obviously cracking jokes about people getting shot and killed is not normal (idc what you say). I feel like society is so blunted to emotions regarding this shit though. The bigger question: does your friend still acknowledge that it's a fucked up video, or does he think it's awesome? Because if he thinks that shit is cool, then you've got a problem. Watching shock videos on the internet is a whole genre and really doesn't indicate a psycho, but enjoying it might. Any other red flags? Does he wet the bed? Pyro maniac? Kill small animals?

It's easy to be distanced from emotions when watching a video because you don't have to see the aftermath of death or serious bodily injury. Have your friend spend a week with first responders or in an emergency department and see what people dying actually looks like, how it feels, and the impact it has on their loved ones. It's really not all rainbows and unicorns.

What pisses me off though is people who crack jokes about this shit and think it's funny. It's really not and if you think it is, you're either immature or deranged. If this defines you, who are you trying to impress by acting in the way you do? Also too many fucking internet trolls thinking death is funny. Sure idgaf if some terrorist gets blown to smitherines by a predator drone, but there's nothing funny about innocent people getting hurt or drying.

First question I think a little bit of both like maybe he knows its fucked Up but I also think he doesn’t care he does find it pretty amusing “awesome”.

Second I don’t know him well enough maybe he wets the bed and/or kill small animals when nobody is around.

How does this dude handle the personal relationships he has, does he have anger issues, is he controlling, is he manipulative, does he seem to lack conscience, does he have narcissistic tendencies, does he seek to make others uncomfortable or cause pain or openly enjoy either. Does he have disproportionate emotional reactions to certain people or events. Is he a pathological liar. Does he try to relate to everyone he talks to in some way?

All of these are characteristics of a psycho/sociopath. The most telling thing will be how he handles his relationships. I'm no psychiatrist but it sounds like your friend needs te be evaluated.

As far as I know he is not very manipulative he is very open outgoing, he has manners, he is very cordial, I feel like he can be narcissistic forsure. Yes he tries to get along with everyone. He seems to dominate all conversations and t seems whenever you object his opinions or offer some sort of critical insight that opposes his one sidedness opinions he goes dead silent or he changes the subject.

Hes never able to hold a relationship in his last relationship that lasted a long 4 months they constantly cheated on eachother and whenever I hung out with them there was always a lot

of alcohol. By anyone’s definition hes a little man whore. 4 partners in a 6 month time period.

It sounds like your friend is a sociopath. That in itself doesn't mean much because there are many high functioning psychopaths out there. I worked with one for a while, and she wasn't scary or alarming; just very charming and manipulative and lacked any conscience. Most aren't a danger to themselves or others but your friend really interesting. Keep an eye on him.
