Should Jon listen to Tanner?

Fuck yo, everyhitng about this thread sucks. why cant everyone just chill out for two seconds. jesus. they are both great skiers and they are both going in different directions. but who fucking cares anyways. do what ever you want to , thats what skiing is all about.

Exactly. Personally I'd like to see both Jon and Tanner ski more big mountain lines and improve in that area. If they don't want to do that, however, that is certainly their right.

i had respect fro you untill you said this. Tanner is an awesome skier, and a smart guy who cares if he dropedout of high school,the guy owns part of a huge ski company, a huge ski film company and is getting paid out the asshole too ski and enjoy his life. Hes doing better than any 23 year old you know please do not make assumptions about people you dont know. And if you gonna ask if I know tanner yes i do and he is a nice guy and is quite inteligent. For the record jon is a fucking amazing mountain skier and won the Scandi Big mountain Champs 2 years ago agasint a stacked field that incleded kaj Zackricson soo in his own right tanner is right Id love to see a full part from Jon indluding bigmountain and huge jumps and urban but i guess thats not what hesin to this year each to there own man its allgood its all skiing. Making money hot bitches and sick doubles are the future shitmaybe latter this year jon will do dubs of bc booters and go to alaska and anialate some huge lines.. he has the skills and is in the top 5 all round skiers in the world
 
yeh I was quite drunk when i wrote this but thanks for the props Tanenr and jon are both amazing skiers but all round jon is better than tanner, and jon has won a big mountain comp and tanner hasnt soo I dont think that tanner can really call jon out on that.

look, skiing is getting bigger. it's going to breed specialists, pipe, jumps, urban, huckers, big mountain guys. but there will always be guys who cross lines too (jon, pep, pollard).

personally i think it's a good angle for jon to ride out (or lead more accurately) the park wave. park domination favors youth, and jon's getting older. take a couple years to dominate that scene, and when the new 13 year olds are getting too insane take your skills to the backside (or AK).

but the real heart of the matter is, give props or go ski, there's no time for hating on what others are doing.
 
that was such a waste to read all that. They are both amazing skiers, tho i guess tanner has some things against him, like being a stoner and all. But serious how many ppl here know who he really is...

I like seeing edits from them and they keep making me stoked to go skiing. So if they hit the park or the BC i dont care im gonna keep watching it and im gonna keep having an awesome time doint that
 
I believe it was a comp at Riksgransen, in Sweden. I am not exactly sure, but I know he did win one, against a field of guys like Kaj Zachrisson and other big mountain rippers. I'm not saying he is a better skier than those guys yet, but he was on that day.
 
ok not going to hate on tanner at all hes def one of the best in the sport, but i dont think ive ever seen him ski "big mountain lines" ive seen him ski some cool pillows but big mountain to me is the suff mcconkey, and morrison, and people like that are doing. he was skiing powder
