Should I

Somebody tell me I’m 16, play lax. The amount I lift varies by week but it’s usually at least 3 times. Should I take creatine. I know generally what it does but what does it do before or after and during your time using it.

im also at like 17, 18% body fat. I want a better jawline. I eat very good. Meal prep chicken, wild rice, different veggies. Lots of celery, yogurt, pumpkin seeds, fruits. And k run. What body fat % do I need to get to for a better jawline and better abs. How long could that take and what’s the fastest I could do it and how

thats a lot just help me out

Main question is should I do creatine

You’re 17 and trying to get lean, you should be on a slight caloric deficit. My fitness pal is nice for getting an idea of if you’re eating too much. Also you don’t need to be on creatine. I’m the same age as you and lift 6 times a week you don’t need supplements, you need diet and consistency. Also don’t expect fast results.

I’m 16 and I took creatine every day for 3 months and I definitely noticed a difference I would recommend it because it helped me gain muscle faster and I also gained like 7 pounds in a couple weeks that I think was a mixture of muscle and water.

Why would you want to pump up your muscles with water? I get that you wanna look big but it’s pointless weight. Especially for skiing, you want to be as strong and lean as possible.

I agree it’s definitely bad for skiing and I’m not taking it now but I did it for football cause I got hurt and lost almost 10 pounds and needed to gain it back really fast when I could play again but I think I definitely gained strength faster with it

Though it is definitely beneficial to be strong and lean, there has been studies showing the positive impacts creatine has, especially in endurance. As long as you're properly hydrating and consistently taking the supplement, the benefits of creatine are quite noticable (at least from my anecdotal experience), even in small doses. That endurance increase can not only help with skiing, but also the ability to lift longer.

Here is one of those studies.

You’re right, creatine does enhance performance, though I still don’t think a 17 year old needs to take any lifting supplements. His main goal seems to be getting more lean, which is more of a diet issue.

Certainly not wrong there, I was more so responding to your post.

Ok. I’m I have done a slight deficit but need to do more. But after lax should I because I would like to bulk a little. I won’t expect a fast results but I do want to see more muscle and loose fat, so what is the fastest I can do that. I run a lot and eat healthy etc

I’m not an expert but to my knowledge the fastest way to put on muscle is to bulk, and then cut afterwards to become lean. 1 cycle of bulking and cutting can take a long time (4-12 months) there’s no “fast” way to do this. You can either cut the calories a bit while working out to get leaner but not a ton more muscular or you can bulk to pack on muscle but gain more body fat.

Someone else probably knows more than I do, anyone wanna fill in?

Creatine will make you stronger and give you better pump when you lift but idk if it does anything for cardio. if you want abs you need closer to a 10% body fat percentage. Calories in have to be less than calories out and one lb of fat is 3500 calories. There's no other way if you want to get ripped.

Sounds like you want everything, I can tell you how to be Slender, Fit, and Healthy, but you won't be extra strong or big. You'll just have good clean energy tho. And that route is via a Fruit Based Vegan Diet.

Hit up The Fagan's if you wanna be huge & Shredded.

No offense to anyone on here, but from what I have seen most park skiers are scrawny bags of sticks. Maybe not the greatest place to ask for bulk advice.

Na, so I want to get Lean for know. Look good for lax and summer. But I thought creatine fills muscles to make you look more defined. I would bulk later. Trust me I’m not small. 165 5’7. I am filled not skin and bones

pretty sure you gotta be around 12ish% for your abs to really show, also a stronger core will make them more visible obv. i dont think theres any huge downsides to taking creatine if your ready for it but you just gotta drink a shit load of water as its job is basically to store water into your muscles meaning youll get dehydrated quicker and can lead to some liver/kidney problems if you slack on the water.

Like how much? I got a 40 ml hydro. It starts with ice in the morning so idk how much water is rly in with ice but. With ice to no ice I drink like 4-5 of those a day and then whatever I bring to lax and I’d don’t drink soda sometimes lemonade. But should I take it while cutting to get more defined or wait till I bulk.

Hit up [tag=277013]@Skiblade420[/tag] he will give u some tips and sneaky tricks

The basic idea behind mewing is that you can change the shape of your jawline if you think about the placement of your tongue in your mouth. People also claim it can help with sleep apnea, sinusitis, and other conditions.

The ideas behind mewing come from the work of British orthodontist John Mew, who is now in his 90s. He and his son, fellow orthodontist Michael Mew, promote a form of orthodontics they call “orthotropics” that focuses on “jaw posture” including retraining the position of the tongue. Britain’s General Dental Council recently stripped the elder Mew of his dental license.

John and Michael Mew did not coin the term “mewing.” It stems from an online movement among people who wanted to change the appearance of their jawlines using ideas from orthotropics, which was originally intended mostly for young children whose jaws are still growing.

Anyhow besides mewing you just gotta stop being a pussy and tell your body it needs to be more lean, if you don’t do anything about it your sick lifestyle is gonna catch up to you

Nah they're on a very dedicated diet and routine. they have a very natural pump. guys on juice, have muscles that look like they have a pump 24/7

Dude your 17, you shouldn’t be worrying about your jawline. Are you trying to be a supermodel? Go play video games, ski, and chase girls.

Also, creatine is for bulking. That will not give you a jawline. If you’re really trying slim down run a mile every day for a year.

Like others have said, you should err towards leaner than bulkier for skiing.

Focus on leg and core and explosive energy, work on your white muscle fibers aka fast twitch too
