should i use my new(gold) public enemys on urbon hand rails? Today i used some old rossingnols that are not twin tipped. so should i use my new ones?

if u wear ur edges down 2 far u cant get em sharpened.....i wouldnt use new skis especially pe's on urban rails ur just gonna ruin em.

 
definetly do not use your new skis for urbaning, just stick with your rossi's for now until you get some new skis

 
Even if you only do rails some, it still makes your edges screwed beyond repair for normal skiing. Not only does it wear away metal, it case hardens whatever is there, effectively changing the metal itself. In short, don't do urban with new skis.

Have you ever seen a little kid slide back down the inrun of a kicker without going over? This is why parents shouldn't dump their kids off anywhere near the park...

haha. Edges are not for grinding, they're for control on snow. Thats your shit gets FUCKED when you slide rails. I'd consider getting a job and buying a pair of used twins for rails and practicing and keep your new skis for jumping and riding.

 
GOD No at least not if u are around cement, stairs and shit like that why waste the skis! Use your brain!!

HAHAH go right ahead, but i hope you dont plan on using those skis to ski anymore because you wont beable to hold a turn if you hit any hardpack or ice days. I know, ive trashed my old PE's on rails and now i cant even hold an edge on ice. But let me as you this, why do you want to trash skis on an urban rail in the first place? there are so many beutiful mountains out there to ski, why waste your time trying to slide an rail in the city when you can be in the mountains

 
definitely do NOT do any urban on your new rails! i just picked up my new PE's and the only rails i'm considering sliding are ones at resorts and such. and i'm not even feeling good about those rails either.

well yester day i brok my rossingnols and now all i have are my public s! but i am getting some cheep line ski to replace them and they are twin tipped. and i am also going to fix my rossingnols.
