Ight so basicly i have to make a huge decision in the next week wether i stay in west or switch to east. I mean highschools by the way. East, the school im currently supposed to go to and were ive been going the past 10 years has recently become extremely shitty. The "quality" of the people has gone way down due to all the people moveing here from n.y.c because 9.11 attacks. My school has gotten rediculously ghetto. Honestly iv gotten to love the hoodness of our school cos its exiteing with all the fights, drugs, and we can basicly do whatever we want to do. And it was great for me last year because i was selling a huge amount to all the n.y.c kids and and was makeing enough to quit my job and just live off of it. Im 16 btw. At beginning of summer me and 4 others got pulled over with 2 os in the car. Cop found it were all fucked.

Soo im done with drugs and shit forever. Its not worth it anymore. I paid the fine and one kid said it was all his so im good with no probation or anything. So now this shitty school means nothing to me lol. The girls are all slutty or just gross or theres something wrong with like all them. theres like 5 decent girls in my grade out ot 300 something kids. I have the option to stay in my school, with no girls and its all ghetto and i dont fit in or go to east. I heard east is amazing with way more normal girls, better education, less drugs, fight ect. In west i have alot of friends but about 5 people i would consider close. So im not gona miss to many people if i go. My question isdo you think itl be hard starting over in a new school? I love meeting new people and im friendly and good looking but idk if it would be worth starting all the way over just to get away from my shitty school. So any ideas?

And sorry for that being long i just though itd be important to explain everything so you see what i mean

When I moved I was nervous as fuck but as long as your chill be yourself and have the balls not to let assholes step on you moving schools isnt that bad. I moved from mass to ny best thing ever 15 mins from my home mountain and great friends.

I think that everyone should be required to move at least once before they're 18. I changed schools in grade 9 and moved across the country in grade 11. I can honestly say that both moves made me a stronger person.

completely agree. walking into a school not knowing a soul is a good learning experience and will strengthen you. It was probably one of the hardest things ive ever done.

Yeah. I can't imagine what it is like transferring to a school where you don't know anyone. A new school was built and I decided to go to it. I didn't know anyone except for a few kids that transferred with me. I had some classes with a kid I knew, but that was it. I made a ton of friends. It was tough though because in 3-4 periods I did not know anyone but a bunch of other people knew everyone. It sucked. The first week was rough, then it got better. I know it is almost nothing like going to a school where you don't know anyone, but I guess it is comparable.

I live in the east, our school reeks of weed, and not in a good way (only in certain sections) kids take all sorts of painkillers, snorting them during class and whatever. and we have a fight or two a week, and the week before april break (which is called Fight Week) theres multiple per day. yeah we ha we some fine girls, but otherwise it sounds just as bad. this is in a regional (6 town) suburban school too, not even a city.

honestly i dont think it really matters where you go, theres always gonna be drugs, fights and slutty girls, its high school
