my wife and i are honey mooning near lake tahoe ca! great area! after all of the banking i have done. what would you suggest i ride. dont say ride your wife er i will hunt you down.

ps we are going to boreal mtn.

It depends on how much experience you and your wife have. Snowboarding is easier to pic up for most people in the beginning and can be a little more forgiving, only one object to have to control, and if you have done any other sort of a board sport it will be similar. Skiing is a little harder to pick up in the beginning but is just as if not more rewarding in the end. If your planing on taking any sort of lesson then you could go with either one. In the end they both are going to be super fun so its really up to if you've had experience with either one.

Just remember to have fun.. hope you and your wife figure out what you want to do.

I always thought it was easier to initially learn skiing than boarding. Like, first time down the hill. But, its easier to get good at snowboarding. Like shawn white is pussy compaired to what any skier would do on a snowboard. Not really but its easier to do more on a snowboard.

They are both fun though. Maybe you could try them both?

cuz he's kidding
i hate to be the dampener on this parade but think about it. I mean you already did, you just needed to jump to a conclusion (they have mats for those sorts of things, pretty sure there was a movie about it or something) MAN i can't find my red swingline stapler anywhere.

I dont think this guys kidding. Having 1000+ posts says nothing about your skiing abilty and more about how much free time you have. Check his profile, nothing about it says "king of the mountain".

But seriously dude, this is a skiing site ... go skiing or go home.

If you hadnt said dont say it, I would have said "ride your wife".

ummm if its who i think it is dlite is a filmer of ski movies with such talents as Kevin Malone who is so fucking artsy right now

i disagree.

skiing is easier to pickup, harder to master

snowboarding is hard to pickup but easier to master

the guy has been on the site for a while.....i thinkk he knows whats up...
thanks for telling him to have fun though........wtf

ive also always heard skiing is easier to learn but hard to master and the opposite for snowboarding. also id say snowboarding can be a lot more painful for a beginner with all the sitting, edge catching to face plants, and getting stuck in powder. SKI !

Ha bro, I think he's kinda "joking".

Looking at his posts/pictures sort of gives it away..

But fair enough for trying to help someone out.

Yes, that's the truth for sure.

I'm an ex-snowboarder, and its way harder to get started on but easy to master once you got it.

Skiing is easier to start on but harder to master.
