Should I hydro dip my 2018 B-dogs?

For those who don't know, Hydro dipping is when you take a large ass tub of water and spray paint the water and put the ski through the layer of paint. It looks like this.



Anyway, would it look good on my B-dogs with just white with black?

just a fuck ton of clear coat would do the trick. I'd also use a plastic base so i can peel it off if it doesnt look good

if you try it maybe lightly sand the topsheet with a fine grit so the paint sticks, maybe a primer?

Yup thats the plan, start by sanding then apply primer

I dig the way that the spray paint can look once you swirl it around tho and im broke

It would be expensive but one of the big metal feeding troughs. Prob wont use it again but you never know

i don't know anything about it so maybe this is a dumb question but you have to submerge the entire ski to do it? how do you make sure you don't get the stuff in your bases?

sick idea but I don't know how it would work for skis but i think it would look really dope on ski polls. also you can't flex yor B-dogs if people don't know they are B-dogs

nope sorry i broke my skis in some early season skiing at woodward. So its not high on my list of things I need to do. I still might do it just to see how it would turn out on my unbroken ski.
