Im 6'3''-6'4'' 180lbs and a real aggressive park skiier but thanks to simon/jossi/colby and all the other pros bein tiny then it sucks tryin to get park skis big enough for me. Currently ridin volkl walls at 185 but im thinkin theyre still a bit short so Im thinkin about gettin something along the lines of line elizabeth, k2 obsethed, volkl chopstick, atomic pimp etc basicly just something thats gonna be longer and way wider underfoot. Does goin wider make much difference for park skiin bearing in mind theyre gonna be centered and used for pretty much nothing else?? All responses much aprreciated!!

They are gonna be a bit heavier, but most of the people on this site have said that having fat skis is more fun. You probably won't be able to spin 10's, unless you have a 70+ foot jump, but you can still do switch-ups, and 270's easily with a little bit of practice. None of that was from experience, just from reading posts here.

Don't think the width would be an issue but not sure I'd want a rockered ski (like the obSETHed) for the park. Bacons might be nice though as pollard has given them some flex. Having said that would you not be better, if it's mainly a park ski you want getting something like the new king fujas - 95mm under foot.

i'm 6'3'' i know how it is!
soon i will be bored enough email all the companys and ask them to produce a 185-190 length park ski (like real 185, not volkl 185)
but if i remember correctly the new k2 kung fujas come in a pretty long length

but if you think about it, kids who are 5'10'' ski 181s and say they would never go any shorter, and i'm 5 inches taller than them, and stuck on 179 k2s

im 6 feet and i ride 165s

i just find them incredible versatile and reaaaaal easy to whip around

it all comes down to personal preference

i just dono why anyone would want a wide park ski

i like them skinny and light so i can move them around well and stuff

I'm the exact same size as you. You just have to deal with it. I'm on 181 Scratch FS WRS just now and they're nice. For my 100% park ski I'd rather go for something 179-185 than have a long fat ski. If the ski isn't for 100% park then that's a different story.

Scott Punisher 191 by the way.

im 6' 185 and rode line invaders 179 last season they were great except backseat landing=washout

so basicly it was a terrible ski for someone my size but if i land switch im all good :)

bottom line

dont buy a soft ski.
