Right now my din is on 8, and I'm poping out at 8 pretty much every run i had today, would putting my din to 9 be fine? or should i go to 10

if your popping out every run your din is too low for sure, move it up and see what happens, adjust it after a few runs if you need to

if you keep poping out then turn them up one, if your still poping out go one higher, etc until your at a comftorable din.

weight, height, bootsole, binding, skier type?

let us know that an we can help you more. if you want a vague answer, turn it up half a notch until you stop popping out all the time and no more

Din might be an issue, but if youre popping out like every run, it could also be problems with forward pressure, or even other attributes.

chck your forward pressure, your boot height if you have it. if you have salomons, make sure the wings are set properly. I doubt it is your din... if you dont know what youre doing, please for the love of your acl, just go to a shop and have them check it out.

dude it might not even be a problem with your binding din..check your boots..i had a pair of langes that were two years old and the soles were so worn that they wouldnt stay in the bindings correctly..check that before you tear somethin!

a shop normally wouldnt mount a pair of bindings to a boot that doesnt have enough sole left. and if that were the case, the binding wouldnt pass the twist torque test, but if youve had those boots and bindings together long enough it is possible. just take them to a shop and have them do a function test on them.

highly doubt it's din because that's pretty high, no shop would set it that high. it's most likely wings/toe height if it's a salomon and/or forward pressure for any other binding.

unless you are 250 i dont think the din is your problem. You most likley have soemthing esle wrong with your bindings

Yea, make sure it fits your boot the way it's supposed to. Normally bindings are set at a starting of 5 or 6 for normal park skiers, and I never pre-eject, at 6. I'd say it's either the binding not set for that boot, or your bindings are fucked... you could crank it up more, but if the bindings are broken, save up for new ones.

Check in this order:

Boot sole - look for excessive wear

Forward pressure indicator - adjust as needed

Toe adjustments (wings, etc) for Salomon bindings only

DIN - if you feel like it needs to be raised, turn it up by half a setting only (i.e - from 8 to 8.5) and ride on it,
if you stop preleasing, leave it there, if you still prerelease continue this process until you don't prerelease.

But notice it's for PRERELEASING, please don't crank them up so high that you don't release when you need to.

Have your binders tested at a shop. If they are coming off all the time at the required setting there is a chance the bindings are just toast and need to be replaced.
