Should I get my skis waxed and tuned?

Last season I was only able to go skiing twice due to an injury and I had my skis tuned and waxed prior to those times. Do I need to get them redone for this season or would I be straight saving the money?

Save that benji bruh. Buy a couple grams instead.

You should wax and tune your own skis like a boss.

But you could probably wait, I wax my skis maybe once a year, it doesnt matter that much unless its the spring.

tuning: no not unless you are all about ripping groomer turns and you actively want sharp edges. most park riders don't want sharp edges tho

wax: probably not an issue since you haven't skied much since last waxing, but if they look dry then it might be worth it. post a pic if you're unsure and want input

No not the greatest pic, but the sheen on the black makes me think those will be just fine. If the green part feels similar to the black, you'll be good to go.

Sweet both feel the same I appreciate it

Agreed on all points here. Though I'll add an asterisk, those bases have some battle scars so maybe err to the side of waxing more to keep your speed. But you'll be fine without

Nah you’re good. I usually wax every 5th day out, which I think most riders would consider a lot anyways.

Hey me too bro. It literally only takes like 20 minutes to become The Fastest Man On The Mountain ™️

Agreed, it’s not that tough to learn how and it’s fun to do that work yourself ??
