Should I eat the scorpion at the bottom of my tequilla bottle

so my friend brought back a few bottles of tequilla from mexico . we are drinking this one right now and it has a scorpion at the bottom of it . we are almost finished the whole bottle and the decision to eat the scorpion will have to be made pretty soon. so yeah ive heard of worms in bottles . but i Have no idea if eating a scorpion is safe . the only reference i have is from bear grylls and it is too cut the stinger (good advice if you ask me) but yeah will it have any effects . I remember someone vaguely telling me that eating the worm makes you halluciante. is that true ? if so will this hold true for a scorpion

anyone ever eaten a scorpion on here ?
 
everyone knows if you finish the bottle you have to eat the worm, so im gonna say this holds true to the scorpion too...

i bet its already cooked cuase it seems like a bad idea to put a dead animal into a drank

but then again its alcohol so that probs killed all the bacteria
 
so yeah my manhood took the better of it and i ate it . I cut off the stinger and claws thingys because they didnt look tasty enough . the thing tasted like a tequilla flavored chip . once you bite on it , it breaks off and it take a few good chews to swallow it well .

if anyone wonders i named it gerald

now im going to kfc to eat something a little tastier

its fine bro ive done it once. my uncle ate the scorpion out of a tequila bottle at a family party and was fine. 2 first hand references. its harmless.
 
U know I am prett ysure surviviorman's scorpion didnt have tequila all over it so i dont htink he had to worry about flambe
 
im guessing the alochol soaked into the scorpion and all the nasty poison stuff got cleaned and washed out, so its safe.
 
there used to be a video of some kid eating a scorpion on here. he held it by the stinger and bit off right before it. he also ended up puking about 12 seconds after he finished it.
 
If it wasn't safe to eat it probably wouldn't be in the bottle of a product designed for human consumption. One time I had some kind of vodka that had a stawberry in it. It was pretty good.
 
Yes. You definitely should. I've eaten the scorpion, it was super crunchy, and exciting, amazing for a bday shot. I actually wish I could have that moment again...

So I strongly encourage anyone thinking about eating the scorpion in mezcal to just do it. I'm sure there some great protein in there plus not to mention it's been sitting in tequila for who knows how long...
