any concert is amazing to watch at red rocks! its like the best place to listen to music, drink beer and stare at the city lights. i would go man. just go...
You can go there and hike up behind the theater on the rocks back there and watch without having to pay. You wont be able to see it really well but you'll hear everything and its free.
the hill is fun as hell. i saw trey anastasio there a few years back. the show was sold out so we just hiked up on the hill. you could kind of see the light show, and hear the music fine. we sat up there and got absolutely hammered off carlo rossi burgundy. good times.
if you can afford it, though, actualy being inside the venue is pretty killer.
ive been to see justice twice, and i really didn't enjoy it. the crowd is all wannabe hipsters that think they're scene. i paid 20 and regretted it... but its up to you. id much rather go see someone unheard of, theyre so much better live.
you know they played a 14 dollar show here back in april ish, but If its your first time at redrocks, go, otherwise, not really worth it. especially monolith, its like 8000 hipsters
for some reason, i read the title of this thread like 5 times, and everytime i read it as "red socks", i kept thinking "i don't get it...at a baseball game?"...
