yeah u can prob get tm's for about that price, maybe less, tm wood be a better choice. tm's are stiffer and are durable, plus they have a wood core, as oppose to salomons foam core.

the three s's skiing, sex, smoking

ya dont go with the foam core, get something with a wood core, much better in the long run.

ottawa represent

U can get them for 449$CA, this is what i paid last year. And I think I saw them at Ste-Anne this year for 449$CA (but only 181cm remaining i think, im not sure), about 2weeks ago. last year model but it's impossible to tell the difference with the new one.

god the foam core isnt that bad at all...everybody keeps saying there bad and they make it sound like its gonna go limp and worn after like a week of skiing...but its not. my advice is that you try them out first.

yeah, honestly i've skied my 1080's pretty hard for almost 50 ski days last year and they haven't lost any pop at all, but I have seen alot delam, I guess it depends on the luck if you get a good ski or a defective one

I own the silver ones, and damn, those things are springy. Foam isnt that bad, everyone talks shit about it. I havent really ridden on anything else (i had atomic 7.22's before the 1080's) but as far as im concerned, good overall ski, more pack based, powder ok, not as good in crud or corn, but those are days to park it anyways. the only thing that i dislike is the small twin tipping, its a bit hard to ride switch in powder. demo them if you get the chance.

Grinding planetary rings would be incredibly difficult, not the least for which because there is no surface per se to slide on, and the collisions of the pieces of asteroid, dust and ice in the ring would make an environment that would not be pleasant. Your blood would first boil in the vacuum of space, leaving you so incapacitated that you could not maintain sufficient balance if there was a surface to grind, and then the temperature would freeze your skin, shatter your eardrums and sever your optical nerves because your watery eyeballs would freeze and then shatter. In the next split second, hundreds of particles of dust, ice and rock smaller than the size of this comma ',' would rip through your ski coat and body, instantly killing you. Your body would then still float about getting cut to shreds by the fragments until it is crushed between two colliding pieces of debris, eg two asteroids within the ring, which would grind your frozen body and regrettably snap your boards, boots and bindings, into dust to float around and become part of the massive debris fields that are the rings of Jupiter.

i think your weight could hav a lot to do with this. if your light then i dont think 1080s will b a prob but i skied em and i aint the lightest but i thought they were quite limp. if i had the choice of ski i'd b lookin at wood cores definately.

remember... if you havent got style u may as well fuck off home.

dude if your thinkin of 1080's u should take a good look at the K2 Public enemys there alittle heavy but i think you'll be happy

my brother hit the big air

and we wonder why tyrol is so worried about people getting hurt

I know you dont want a foam core for sure. Maybe if youre light enough it may not matter though.

Ive split a wood core before but I just think it was because of bad workmanship. Wood is better for the long haul.

the old 1080s are so much better i road them for 2 years and am now using them for urban assalt and besids the base scratches they have no damage whats so ever. in my opinion the most durable ski ever. the new 1080s suck harsh style. really ugly and have alot of problems and the foam core is only the biggining

dont get it twisted
