Should I bail?

So I've spent the last two seasons at mt hood meadows, this year we aren't even close to opening. There is no major snowfall expected until mid January. I have the money to go anywhere in the western U.S. but I just got a job on park crew this year as well. What do you guys think? Should I wait it out or bail to find whiter pastures?

Yesterday was an awesome day to ski at Mt. Hood. This time of year you just need to hike or get a Timberline pass. I saw a dude that booted up to about 10000 feet yesterday just carrying his skis in full tilts. I had a blast just cruising around Palmer. If you stick it out you'll be glad to have that Meadows pass once it gets deep.

Its not really worth $65 to ski palmer. I'm worried its going to be like last year where every snow storm brought a few inches of rain with it. Things are looking up later this week though.

I'd have a hard time paying full price for just Palmer too. FYI you can get a 1/2 price ticket this week if you donate to their toy drive. The snow always piles up eventually. Late winter and spring are usually the best seasons for deep snow on Hood.

Honestly, just wait it out... You have a sick job and Meadows will open in the next week or so.

move to summit, eagle, or steamboat. great snow, great vibes, great place to ski and live
