Should bush be impeached

no, democrats and republicans in congress both agree the wiretaps. Plus the wiretaps werent getting people like you and me they were getting people who were deemed suspicous by the CIA and NSA. They actually got people from wiretaps that were planning on blowing up the Brooklyn Bridge.
 
Bush dug America into a shithole. It wouldn't be right to have him impeached while we're still stuck in this shithole, and Cheney's even worse.
 
to impeach someone is just to put them on trial. to actually remove him from office would be such a pain in the ass that would not be worth it. he only has 1.5 years left. and would you really want Dick in charge of everything in our country?
 
On what grounds would we impeace Bush. He hasn't been convicted of anything to legally be able to impeach him.

Now,bush himself isnt the cause of all of americas problems. (this being said from a democratic/liberal minded person). Its our own fault that we decided to elect the man in the first place. Bush didnt fuck up the world all by himself. That being said, war in iraq isnt going to fix anything. Bad move. world doesnt need any more war than it already has, but we as fuckin americans support this shit. you cannot argue that its all bush's fault when he was elected, and 67% of america wanted war.

same thing for every other country. people love bashing their leaders. in France bashing your political leaders is reffered jokingly as the National passtime.

no matter what country you live in people will talk about their leaders in a negative way while others defend them.

both of those groups think that whichever stance they have is the minority and that by voicing their hatred/love for the leaders they are seperating themselves from the masses and being individuals.

on one hand bashing the leaders shows that you see a problem with the country you live in and instead of doing anything about it you show how the reason theses problems are here are not because of you but because of the few at the top.

on the other hand defending the leaders can show many different things, on one hand your too stupid to see a problem with the country your part of (which means no improvements are necessary, the problems dont affect you, or it shows that you are taking responsibility for the problems, pretending to be be the bigger man, and not doing shit about it.

either way its stupid. instead of going out in the streets or on the internet and saying

"I HATE BUSH" or "BUSH ISNT BAD" or "I LOVE BUSH"

work on your life being more comfortable.

dont tell us what the leaders did wrong and dont tell us what they should have done, all that is in the past. find a solution that you think will make a better future (even if its only for yourself and go about finding a way to implement it.

those who are really smart are already doing that. if your not working on fixing/ building things the way you want them then those people who are will get it their way and it might not be the way you might want it fixed or built.

at my high school a group of kids wanted to get Creationism implemented in the class, I got all the science teachers brought them into the principles office and got each of them to explain how Evolution is FACT and creationism is complete and uder BULLSHIT.

67 % of america wanted a war because they were brainwashed by the reasons bush gave for going to war. there was no al qaeda in iraq. bush decided he'd lump iraq into the general terrorism bracket so he could finish up daddy's work. i totally agree that iraq was (and still is) in a bad place and that getting saddam insane out of there was best for the welbeing of everyone he didn't like (ie: kurds). but telling the nation he's going to war with iraq to route out terrorism in a country w/ WMD was the most obsurd thing ever.

try finding a poll like that on the foxnews website. It would be the exact opposite. Polls like that dont mean shit. If you want to find a legit poll you have to go to gallup or another respected company.
 
Every single major media outlet is byist towards one wing or another. Even though I am probably the most conserative person on Newschoolers, (Except I dont care if gay people want to marry, or if people want to abbort their children, let people do what they want to do) I get my personal beliefs on why the goverment is run a certain way by looking at the problems that face athority figures in our goverment, and how they face them. It is easy to say "fuck bush, he starts wars over oil. It is harder to realize that we are the most powerful military in the world, and are expected to break up any skirmish in any place.

that said, fuck every political thread made after this, including these conspiracy ones. and fuck people who have athority figure problems, move to any other country in the world and you will still have people telling you what to do. Some may even point an Ak-47 at you.

uhh...sorry but basically EVERYONE hates Bush. He has instigated 2 unneccessary wars, don't bother arguing that because you're wrong if you disagree. Invading Iraq and Afghanistan had little to do with the war on terror....Bush quite obviously had other goals in mind. Even if the wars hadn't bombed like they did, we wouldn't have really gotten far in eliminating terrorism.

Under the Bush regime, the United States has gone from it's highest national surplus in history to it's highest national debt in history. I wouldn't dare think that those pointless wars had anything to do with out massive loss of money.

This is my theory about the Iraq war. This is what I think Bush planned and hoped for from the war: He figures if we come in on our white stallion, take out their oppressive dicator and bring democracy to the land, the middle east will love us. We'd have great relations with the whole Islamic world, we could get cheap oil, and be generally kick ass. However nobody wants some strange white folk to barge into their country, declare war and basically wreak havoc and destroy shit and kill people. Dur dur dur, big surprise, they FUCKING HATE AMERICA. I highly doubt 9/11 was their way of being hospitable. Bush now looks like a dolt becuase he fucked our economy, and started a bunch of pointless wars.

i never said 87% of the u.s , but 87% out of 285k is a large amount and its almost a sure thing hundreds of thouands more feel the same way. and lets be fair , msnbc is way more "fair and balanced" then fox, they lean toward the left but in no way do they have analysts as bad as o reilly, kasich, hannity etc. fox is full of in o reillys own words " smear merchants" msnbc is miles ahead of fox in terms of fairness,accuracy and quality. i mean cmon, they got olberman
 
Now take a poll of those 25k or whatnot and see how many believe impeaching is kicking him square out of office, not TRYING him of "high crimes" with commited in office.

Like someone said before Clinton wasn't impeached for the affair, he was impeached for lying under oath.

Even if there was no terrorism or wmds in Iraq it the war still would have been justified. Iraq violated UN sanctions for 12 years. Saddam Hussein commited war crimes. He is a terrible person. Taking him out of power was a GOOD thing. I admit it could have been handled better after Saddam was taken out of power but you can't say everything about this war has been bad.
