Shot Ski

Just got the binders of some old rossi race skis and planning on making a shot ski with my roomates. Anyone else do this, whats the best way to mount the shot glasses on. We were thinking about cutting circles in the top sheet, sanding and then putting the shot glasses on with krazy glue. Ill put some pics up when its completed...

Have all your friends jerk off into a bowl, mix in 2 cups of flower, a cup of water, and table spoon of tears and it makes the strongest glue known to man.

ive always just wiped the skis down and glued shot glasses right onto the topsheets. plastic sticks way better than glass by the way

if you dont care what it looks like, just tape em on and it will survive a while

Rough up the bottom of the glasses and the topsheets, i used epoxy and it's still holding strong

A good 2 part epoxy will easily lock anything like that solid. You're talking about a shot glass that weighs shit and epoxy that holds some fucking shit.

I still like the jizz and tears homemade glue.

this, it means you can clean the glasses and use normal shotglasses without buying extra

Everyone takes the shots at once by tipping the ski. One person to each shot glass. Usually 3-5 glasses depending on how big the ski is.

I have an ancient cross country ski. Just used some industrial glue and I am sure that the glasses will break before the glue lets go.

dude, just use super glue. i've made 4 shot skis half drunk with nothing more than random shot glasses, a bottle of super glue, and an old ski. and I've never had a shot glass come off.

dont glue them. they are imposible to clean (especially since you will be doing it hungover) and they tend to break easier when they are glued. Do what someone else said just cut inch and a half or 2 inch holes in the ski, (depending on the size of your glasses). the glasses will fit right in there and stay still until you dont want them too. Plus, if youre already pretty fucked up, you can take the glasses out of the ski to pour them.

From experience, this is the best.

The bar I worked at had the sickest shot ski ever, it looked like this:

The shot glasses were attached using a little ski binding, you would release the heel (like tele or AT bidings) and the boot would slide out. People would be hammered and forget to lock the binding down and when they took the shot it would swing down and hit them in the face, which was halarious.

I've been through a few shot skis, and the super glue method definitely works, but I've found that the best way is just to use circular Velcro, which makes it a LOT easier to clean the glasses since they are removable.

I made mine with three shot glasses, here's the steps:

-bought three shot glasses

-measured diameter of shot glass(approximately)

- found a holesaw for a drill slightly larger than glass diameter

-spaced out three holes along length of ski

-drilled out using the hole saw.

-sanded and painted desired design(optional)

-wrapped the glasses with electrical tape so that you push and turn the glass into the hole so it stays there. this allows the glasses to be removable so that you can wash them easily

I prefer the mug snowboard. You glue mugs onto a snowboard, fill them with beer, and all chug them. Funny results when you match up really fast drinkers with really slow ones.

I was originally thinking ski shot as well but after reading the mugs on a snowboard thing i think i will try to get those on an OG pair of Rossi Scratches i just took bindings off for this exact purpose. Anyone try attaching something bigger than a shot class to skis?

Also someone i know found one at a bar that has the shot glasses mounted but they have like some sort of plastic coating connecting them to the skis so if you drop it or something they can't break off.

Fully intend on making the mugs ski as sort of a one time use thing for this weekend and then smashing the fuck out of the glasses when the party gets too reckless.

I made one once for a friends birthday present. I found that the best way to do it is drilling holes, not gluing. Good luck, theyre a hell of a good time
