anyone seen this flick?? it's not the best, but there is some damn impressive shheot in this. i especially liked the begging and the ending. what'd you think of it if you saw it. i don't know if any of you skate though.

haha you dont know if any of us skate? of course there are some skaters, guilty was a big letdown for most people, not me thouhg. i dont care what anyone says i like the damn movie and thats final, except the damn acting and all that stupid skateboarding is a crime stuff, that was so lame it was funny, maybe they intended it to be like that, but in my opinion i still think most of the parts were good, if not great. i wouldnt buy it thoough, buy tactical manual, thats the best skate vid, and rds

hey man i skate. dude you should check out the one globe movie. i forget what its called...i'll look it up if i remember. the best shot of any skate video i've ever seen and i've seen maybe 40 or 50 (thanks to irc). girshon mosley does a huge ass styled out hard flip and spun 180 degrees (i forget what its called...i can do the tricks, just can't name them) on a transition up to flat to transition down. just gaps the flat...some weird cement thing. such a smooth, styled out shot. what you're talking about is definitely a good flick though.

#sk8videos eh antadam??? haha on dalnet, or on efnet #skatevideos, there is also #snowvideos and #bmxvideos on dalnet i think. oh yeah but out of all my friends we own most of the skate videos, so i get to see every vid taht comes out because at least one of my friends will buy it, they each have at least 20 skate vids, so it adds up haha

but tactical manual is where its at, some people also enjoy the transworld vids, personnally i dont, i think they are boring, but oh well. i dont want ski vids to turn like skate vids, i prefer them like they are right now.

get the expedition one video. its amazing. all the skaters have amazing style. anything with karl watson is going to be good. also the new deal video. and pj ladd's wonderful horrible life is really good too.

i saw dying to live and i thought that it had one of the best soundtracks, plus jamie thomas kills it.

 
Yea opinion is off the hook, especially fernandez's section, he's sick. Muska is far from overrated. He skates stuff that is so much more burly than most skaters. Thomas is in that group too, but he's more tech than Mullen. Smolik is so ridiculously tech switch and regular. I don't think it's a let down of a video.

 
muska sucks, but everyone else does there job making him look like the shitty skater he is

Ok find anyone in the industry to say that Muska sucks, I'd be very surprised. I'm not even a big fan of him, but he's so burly and skates fast as well.

 
i dont like muska.. i dont think hes that great compared to other people. he does big stuff but with 50-50s, 5-0s and shit..

i really liked the editing in 'this is skateboarding'

muska does dick all to show his skills... all he has going for him is major wigger steeze. He ollies, 50-50's, tailslides or bluntslides.....maybe with a 3 flip down a stair set. Never have i seen him compare so badly to the rest of the pro skateboarding world
