Shorter skis?

I'm 6 ft on 174 Foils...

I like having shorter skis sometimes. Especially in moguls.

I took out a pair of 165's this season. They were really fun.

„« 200 lbs.-195cm

181-200 lbs.-187cm

161-180 lbs.-180cm

141-160 lbs.-174cm

< 120 lbs.-155cm

i like big skis. they make everything look better and it takes more skill in my opinion to ride long skis. when i had short skis i felt like i was cheating somehow

im 5'2 and ride 150's

i could only go 2 sizes smaller to like a 140 or 130, so there would not be much of a difference using smaller skiis

that scale is 100% bullshit. ski length is related to heigh, weight, ability, agressiveness, what your skiing, personal preference etc, not just weight and not just height.

I fall into the 120-140lbs category and ski 179s and 190s.

im 135 and used 151s this year (I know way too small) but I could spin off of anything, I had no problem with them, I could whip them around however I wanted and they never washed out. I want to get karmas in the 160-170 range this year (I dont know the exact size off the top of my head)and I hope the change isnt too much.

its all preference....i'm 5'7 and ride 180, 178, and 182. I think next year though for park skis i'm gonna go to a 174 or something

the scale is made to help you figure out what ski length you want, obviously if you prefer a bigger ski and you weigh 120-140 lbs, you can ride whatever ski length you want

Race skis are the exception, I rode some 174 k2s 4 GS and I'm six foot , a really stiff short ski is fun.

I know that, but you can't go by some scale made by rossignol.

Just saying its a very poor way of figuring out what size ski you should be on.
