Why did you post this?
First of all you should have known and if you didn't knot that this thread was going to be flamed to ashes your dumb. If you did congrats for having balls to post on the internet!
I have nothing against snow bladers. Yah I wouldn't personally do it but thats just me, if you like it fine, but don't come on NS (a ski, not snowblade site) and say that skiing is going to be changed by short ass skis. It's highly unlikely that in a few years that many people will change their mind completly about a sport. Can you name any other event, fad, sport that was changed drastically within a few years? No I didn't think so.
As for you views on urban jibbing I think skis will stay ahead in style. Think about it this way. If I jump up and land on a rial with my feet and slide down is that cool? No thats pretty gay (little side fact, there are sneakers with a hard plastic in the arch part that enables you to slide, do some research and you'll find them, their pretty gay) Thats kinda like snowblades. If I skiier can rip up Urban rails and have style doing it can you imagine what they would do on snow blades? Probly over spin and die because it's a lot easier. Snowblading is the sister of skiing, or brother, not meaning to say that your a bunch of girls.
So to sum it up (for those lazy people out there that didn't read) snowblading is easier then skiing, looks less stylish because their short blades on your feet, not big sticks comming off your feet looking like a bad ass x in the air, and it will continue to be the way and choice of true skiiers for many, many years to come.
