Shops in Whistler

i dunno if they will have them yet, but snowcovers is a nice store with great service, especially with boots.
 
i've been to whistler 4 times, and i haven't noticed that many "amazing" shops. you'd think that being one of the biggest mountain resorts they would have shops the size of a city block jammed packed with skis and stuff. but they just got little shops
 
amazing shops arent usually the size of a city block. those are ussually shitty ass big box stores like sport chek. Glacier Shop, TMC, FanatykCo, Surefoot, Snowcovers (not really), Comor... all good shops

no one has the spk boot as there are only a handful of them in canada at this time.
 
To anwser your question we only have a limited quantity right now globally. If you are on the glacier I do have some SPK boot demos to try but only in sizes 25.5/ 26.5 / 27.5. They will be in stores this next winter. The feedback has been great and our diggers this year on the glacier can tell you first hand that these boots rock as they wear them every day. Be sure to try the SPK skis out to if your on or around the glacier. The full Salomon freestyle line-up will be at the Momentum Ski Camps Lane until July 29th.
 
there was one real chill shop that i found in whistler. i forget the name of it but it was like away from the whistler gondola down that little like plaza thing they have with all the restaurants and stuff. like it was all skiing shit and was real chill. i wish i could remember the name. they had like 9000 tshirts with the shops name but i dont remember the name of the shop.
 
I think you ment TMC Freestyle shop which is owned by Yoski who also coaches for Blackcomb Freestyle. This store was the first freestyle shop in Whistler.
 
No shop in Whistler will have the SPK boot until the late fall. We do how ever have demo SPK boots at my tent at Momentum Ski Camps. If you have any other questions about these boots or any other Salomon product come on over to the Salomon tent grabe a Base Energy Drink and drool over next years skis.
 
TMC propbably. best ski shop in whistler. youske and rest of the crew are super chill and they carry all this crazy shit you wont find anywhere else. everything from skis, outerwear, hats, tonnes of streetwear, skateboards and trucks etc, bindings...gah everything. tonnes of movies.
 
Youske is the man ! TMC is the shit they have been down for the casue before there even was a casue yuuske's father was a pro bump skier back in the 70's. Support Tmc not the gay glacier shop or Comor they suck compared to tmc.
 
your an idiot shut up Tmc kill it they were there before you even knew what newschool skiing was supporting unknown whistler talent like Dana Flair and James Hillier they did so much for the sport shut the fuck up and stop talking shit about stuff you have no idea about.
 
don't get me wrong here, there's lots of things to get hyped about at tmc - they have a goddamned ESL school upstairs.

nevertheless, it still stands that they do some shady shit.

i neeeeeed cheap stuff.... i wanna buy new pants, new boots, and a new coat, but last years stuff... where can i get cheap gear in whistler???
 
You can't really use the words "Cheap" and "whistler" in the same sentence. Unless you're talking reuse-it centre.
