Depends what has the better deal and if I'm to lazy to go out and look for it. Most of the time shopping online has better deals, but sometimes the shops around do.

definitely support your local shops, they give a shit about you as a customer and they dont just want your money like the online shops who have shitty service, and if you buy it in person you know exactly when you will get it and you will also know that nothing will be missing

support your local independent ski shop. usually you can walk away with some free stickers or a poster if you stop in. plus, you don't have to wait for your stuff to come in the mail. who doesn't love instant gratification?

Yeah I think it's always good to support your local shop if you can. Sure there are some shops that suck even though they sell freeskiing stuff. But if you find a shop who is into it and makes you feel like they want your business then it probably worth it to spend fifty extra dollars to support them. Also if you buy them through a shop you can get service on them and it's way easier to deal with warranty.
