Just got my bindings installed and there is a small gap between the binding and the ski. Is this going to cause issues? The other binding is perfectly fine.
yeah. it should be flush. check if the screws are tight. if they are already tight then you will have to back them off and tighten them again. you might have to scrape away some of the pulled up top sheet.
back the screw out slowly and then push down on the toe and screw it back in. just be sure not to spin the threads. they probably didnt hand tighten fully after starting them with a drill. i always go back over each screw by hand to set them properly. Not a big deal and it does happen. Especially on the heel plates the griffons use. Ive also had this happen where the topsheet on line skis will mushroom when screwing in and you need to take everything off and redrill the holes again to remove the raised clear coat again.
if u try to fix them yourself and fuck it up then ure stuck with it, dont touch a thing, bring it back to where it was mounted and theyll fix it for you thats a trash job they were probably rushing and didnt care

you are making a lot of assumptions with this post. things happen and people make mistakes. If you do take it to the shop id recommend being kind and giving them a chance to make it right without being rude. Just explain you think it should be flush and have them take a look. More than likely they will help you out and apologize and probably throw in your next tune for free.
