Shooting At Va Tech

22 dead, 21 wounded.

Since im at school in Va, this hits home hard.

Thoughts and prayers to all the family's of the victims.
 
shooter is dead, apparently he shot his girlfriend around 9, then 2 hrs later made his way to another building and killed 20 students execution style
 
On CNN its says that they suspect two shooters, one of whom is dead, and the school issued a warning that said a shooter was loose on campus.
 
All my best friends go to tech plus 100+ who went to my highschool. So im kinda freakin out bc i cant get ahold of any of them.
 
i think they said there was only 1 shooter who killed himself...but this is gonna be retarded because campus security is going to be so much stricter now. rip to those kids.
 
It's really sad people can shoot that amount of innocent people. I just really really hope this isn't used by the media to make people even more afraid of this kind of shit happening.
 
Why? Because muslims weren't involved? Because it was an american who committed the murders?

What exactly exempts it from being terrorism?
 
From the dictionary: 'the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce, esp. for political purposes'

- so unless there are political motives behind the shooting and not just a mentally unstable person looking for attention, no, by definition, this wasn't terrorism.
 
wow, I didn't read the definition that I posted - so yes, you are correct; this can be considered terrorism, though MOST OFTEN, terrorism is used for political reasons.
 
Man the news is fucking stupid. they interview the stupidest people and ask the stupidest questions...

"do you know anyone who got shot"

"how does it make you feel"

"what do you think the final outcome will be"

"what is the mood on campus"

my heart goes out to the victims and everyone effected...i just really hate the news...
 
what i wanna know is how one person can kill people at 7 in a dorm then 3 hours later witout being caught at 7 shoot more people in classroom
 
of course this was terrorism it might not have been an intentional act of terrorism but the way this is going to be portrayed in the media is going to cause it to be a terrorist act.

the democrats are already at to their insensitive selves and are politicizing this tragedy for stricter gun control laws....bull shit.
